Democrats war on (half) the American people may be backfiring

In her 2016 losing campaign to Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton referred to half of Trump voters as a “basket of deplorables.”  That outlandish statement was appropriately greeted with a major pushback and harsh criticism.   BUT her opinion has been the core of Democrat strategy ever since.

While GOP campaigns largely focus on issues and the Democratic Party hierarchy as instruments of policy, the Democrats have set their sights on the main street and country-road Republic voters. John and Jane Q. Citizen, as it were.

The demonizing of half the American electorate is divided into two basic attack themes.  Trump voters are either evil or stupid – or both.  They (we) are a basket full of insurrectionists who are – with malice of forethought – attempting to bring down the American Republic by force – by coup.

Clinton did not just call millions of Americans “a basket of deplorables,” she got very specific in her mendacious mischaracterization.   “They are racists, sexists, homophonic, genophobic**, xenophobic, Islamophobic … you name it.”

(**genophobic?  While that is what Clinton said, most reports – and even closed captions – omit that reference – assumedly as a favor to Clinton.  That is because in her rant and rage, she had no idea what she was talking about. Genophobia is fear of … I am already laughing … fear of sexual intercourse. Not something she ever accused her husband of. Maybe she mispronounced and meant genuphobia … fear of one’s knees or kneeling.  OR … gynophobia … fear of women.  What every she meant, it was a basket full of bullsh*t.  But I digress.)

Democrats describe Trump voters as dupes and cultists willing to do Trump’s bidding with mindless obedience.  At times you would think they are critiquing a zombie movie – and in some cases, they actually refer to Trump supporters as being zombie-like.  That is when they are not referring to them as fascists or Nazis.

In the Democrat’s kindest descriptions, Trump supporters are gullible low information voters.  We are incapable of making an intelligent decision.

We also cannot understand what we experience today when we go to the grocery store or pay our bills.  We are doing great economically they tell us, but we are just too stupid to know it.  How we “feel” is just wrong.

Those who say they are worse off under Biden are beyond ignorant.  We suffer from what they have dubbed “Trump amnesia.”  In other words, we cannot determine what we experienced in the past.  We only THINK the country, you and me, were better off under Trump.

Understandably, we are starting to see some pushback against this demonization of millions of wonderful Americans.

So, there ‘tis.

Hey, just don’t pay a prostitute $130,000 taken out of your company’s expenses, cook the books so it looks like a business expense, and you probably won’t have to worry about “Lawfare” at all. Stop covering for this whore master. If you’d done the same thing in your company it would not have taken eight years to track you down and throw you in prison.

PJ: we need to be fair. Porn star, not whore. Certainly you have partaken of porn at least once. Legal. Same with the model. The doorman’s friend — dk. Extortionist might be more accurate but I am not sure who broached the money first. But the sex was not forced or paid for, the payment was to hush later so as not to give Hillary an edge. Rigged election. And that’s the crime.

Now, that’s where it gets interesting. As Larry mentioned, this is a unique case. Not so much the overall case, that’s old school, but the specific elements that make up the case are novel. However, while Horst feels that should toss the case, in my opinion, this is what makes the case and sets the precedent for any president or other person to do these types of actions at their own peril of the law in the future. And that, I think is a good thing.

For example, wouldn’t Bill Clinton fall into the same boat? How about Obama who accepted and highlighted the fabrication of the famous movie in order to delay the investigation on Benghazi right before his election. Would he apply? I mean, the guy had a losing economy and I still don’t know how he won that election. I am guessing there are dozens of cases in either business or politics that could fall into the same boat now that the precedent has been established.

And that’s cool in my book. I am tired of powerbrokers buying their way out of problems while limiting transparency into their actions.

That a great thing that comes from this and perhaps Trump’s only appeal, the very nature of the case. But he does not have his supremes, he will lose.

“Those who say they are worse off under Biden are beyond ignorant.” And someone amazingly forgets COVID and the Trump response. No wonder, he’s from Florida where they can’t spell COVID.

Four years ago, call it June 2020. Are you better off than under Trump where:

as of June 9, 2020, the USA, under Trump’s response, has the highest number of confirmed cases of COVID-19, 1,993,560 in North America. As of June 9, 2020, Trump’s response gave us 110,220 deaths ahead of Mexico and Canada combined. And he would clear 1 million dead. Statistically, our response, as measured against other developed nations, sucked. Under Trump.

Trump tweeted in June of 2020, “Obamacare is a joke! Deductible is far too high and the overall cost is ridiculous. My Administration has gone out of its way to manage OC much better than previous, but it is still no good. I will ALWAYS PROTECT PEOPLE WITH PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS,ALWAYS!!!” That was a lie.

Previously he had openly pondered whether shining a UV light up your ass or injecting bleach might help as he divined that the disease would disappear shortly. He lied. The US has one of the worst responses to Covid of any developed nation; hundreds of thousands die unnecessarily as Trumplicants ask for more death willingly with vaccine hesitancy that Trump does nothing to counter. The US, under Trump is the first world nation to surpass 2,000,000 cases.

Trump’s covid response does drop mass shootings to an all time low in 2020, however the record Trump set for mass shootings, death and injuries, in 2017 means his administration will rack up more mass shootings, murder and injury, than any other modern President. Over 600 affected, in total, in one year. Most years are well under 200. That’s Trump for you! Setting records from impeachments to felony convictions to Presidential sex abuse to deaths.

The Summer of Floyd takes place on Trump’s watch. Remember the upside-down Bible, that you can buy now for $49.99 on the web site, to condemn BLM, also created on Trump’s watch. How many riots, how much damage, all on Trump’s watch. Boogaloo Boys shoot Federal Agent dead in CA. Gunman opens fire in a police station in CA. These are daily stories under Trump.
And then then economic collapse — unemployment, GDP craters, markets crash, all on Trump’s watch. Sure, blame covid, it’s a convenient excuse of a lie to divert you from looking at the failure which is Trump.

There’s a second Libyan civil war, Trump does nothing. ISIL-linked militants attack a police station in South Kalimantan, Indonesia, killing an officer. One of the militants is shot dead as he tries to attack other policemen. Trump does nothing and ISIS grows under his rule. The Congo massacres, Trump does nothing. The Nigerian massacres, Trump does nothing. Maghreb insurgency on the Ivory Coast. Trump does nothing. After two years of detention in Iran, under Trump’s watch, Michael White is returned finally. Turkey puts US Consulate member in jail, Trump does nothing.

I don’t even have to go to abortion protections for rape and incest babies, family separations, or the other heinous stuff he’s pulled off. No, I was not better off four years ago under this charlatan patriot. On the finances or the social issues.
