College Students Can't Name Vice President
Students at Texas Tech University took to the streets of the campus to ask their classmates simple questions such as “Who is the vice president” and “Who won the Civil War?” Although college students should easily be able to answer these questions, the results of this experiment were shocking.
When asked who won the Civil War, one student replied, “Like, that one in 1965?” And that response is not even the worst of the bunch.
PoliTech, the group who created the video, released a statement saying, “This video is not a criticism of the school’s academics, but instead a bold message to college students everywhere to be more politically involved.
