
<p>We are about to appease China so that Biden doesn’t have to deal with inflation. Unfortunately, It frees China to continue to meddle in American affairs, and probably will do nothing to mitigate inflation. </p>



<p>Biden knows, as everyone does, that China is America’s greatest enemy. They have riddled the U.S. with spies, they steal technology, they threaten Chinese Americans, they manipulate markets to put American companies out of business, and that is just what they do inside America.</p>



<p>Internationally, they threaten our allies (e.g., Taiwan), they collaborate with bad actors (e.g., Russia), they bully, manipulate and extort smaller companies, and they have a worldwide plan to dominate.</p>



<p>But Biden doesn’t know how to fix inflation. The federal government has spent so much money that inflation is inevitable. ; The Federal Reserve can usually raise interest rates to rein in inflation, but that would increase the national debt payments beyond our means.</p>



<p>Biden is considering relieving the tariffs with China in an attempt to lessen inflation. It is by no means certain that this will work.</p>



<p>Trump imposed levies of 25% on certain goods coming from China to ; do several things. First it encouraged domestic manufacturing to help American workers. Second, it was intended to help with trade negotiations with many countries. Third, it was to help protect American national security, lessen the theft of intellectual property, encourage research and development within America.</p>



<p>The idea was to keep China at arms length, to let them know we are watching them and that there are consequenses for meddling in our affairs.</p>



<p>Now China knows they can screw with us as they like, that we haven’t the focus to punish them for long. They have already been emboldened by how Russia is getting away with attacking a sovereign country, while America stands by impotent.</p>

<p>Now if one were to subscribe to conspiracy theories, one might say that Biden is being extorted by China, which has the goods on Hunter Biden.</p>



<p>So our choices, as always, are incompetent or traitorous. ; Not sure it makes any difference , Biden could not harm America worse either way.</p>
