<p>Robert Bowdrie Bergdahl, known to the world as Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, faces a court-martial after suspicions of desertion and misbehavior, not to mention accusations that he actually joined the Taliban. ;</p>
<p>Back in September, I wrote about the circumstances of Bergdahl&rsquo;s capture and release. The soldier was allegedly taken captive by Taliban forces in Afghanistan, where he remained for nearly five years before the Obama Administration traded five prisoners for his release. ;</p>
<p>A few months ago, retired Colonel David Hunt told the world that the Obama Administration has tapes proving Bergdahl&rsquo;s desertion and allegiance to the Taliban. ;This Monday, the US Army announced the specifics of the court-martial: &ldquo;Gen. Robert Abrams, commander of the Army&rsquo;s Forces Command, was tasked with reviewing the report of a hearing officer who said Bergdahl should only face a special court-martial, a proceeding with stricter limits on possible punishments. ;Abrams has the power under military law to make his own decision in the case and disregarded the recommendation and opted for a general court-martial. Officials did not give a reason for his decision.&rdquo; ;</p>
<p>If convicted, Bergdahl will face life in prison. The House Armed Services Committee also declared on Thursday that the Obama Administration&rsquo;s controversial decision to trade Bergdahl for five imprisoned Taliban terrorists was highly illegal. ;The trade &ldquo;adds one more national security stupidity notch to Obama&rsquo;s belt,&rdquo; said Mike Huckabee. &ldquo;The American people are sick of President Obama&rsquo;s public relations crusade for Islam.&rdquo; ;</p>
