Democrat South Carolina State Rep and US Senate candidate Krystle Matthews, 41, was caught on undercover audio by Project Veritas trashing white people, and revealing her true feelings about South Carolina’s white and black citizens.
Project Veritas is a citizen journalism group that investigates and exposes corruption, dishonesty, self-dealing, waste, fraud, and other misconduct.
In leaked audio released on Wednesday, Krystle Matthews was caught saying, “And let me tell you one thing, you oughta know who you’re dealing with, like…you gotta treat them [white people] like shit, like I mean that’s the only way they’ll respect you.”
State Representative Kyrstle Matthews, South Carolina
Matthews is a mother of 5 children, a politician, and an organizer originally from Ohio. She has been a South Carolina House of Representatives member for the 117th District since 2018, and was the only Democrat that ran in her district back in 2018.
She attended Bowling Green State University, the University of Cincinnati, and Trident Technical College (AA).
Her current committee roles include operations and administration, medical, military, public, and community affairs.
Matthews’ US Senate About Us page:
Matthews ran for her first office in 2018, not knowing anyone in politics on either side. She knew that she wanted to represent working folks that may not have been groomed or versed in politics but were very much frustrated with the current political climate.
Matthews, 41, believes that young adults, minorities, women, and working families are the backbone of our state. She was inspired to run for office because she believes that people who look like her and come from backgrounds like hers are often affected the most and heard the least.
At the Statehouse, she has been a champion for women and girls, veteran’s issues, economic development, and infrastructure.
“Why we need Krystle Matthews”, according to her website:
While the pandemic underlined inequalities in America’s workforce, our healthcare, and even our classrooms. At a time when so many people are doing all they can to mentally and physically survive this pandemic, we need someone who understands balance.
The irreparable damage done by SC current leadership will have a staggering ripple affect for future generations
We’ve got work to do in our own backyard. And I’d rather clean it up than cover it up. Every election is a choice. And in 2022, the choice will be even more clear.
We have to choose a candidate who is not concerned about parties or personalities. But concerned about leadership and restoration for the people of South Carolina.
SC State Rep is No Stranger to Controversy
In June of this year, Matthews revealed in undercover audio she is looking for “SuperSleepers” to infiltrate the state’s Republican Party and to help her back her campaign with illegal funding through “dope money.”
The audio as reported by The Gateway Pundit,
“And I still gotta struggle to raise money for my campaign?” she said. “Where the f*ck is my black people with money? I don’t care about no dope money! Give me that dope boy money!” she said.
“Where the duffel bag boys?”
Matthews complained about black people in South Carolina: “Honestly, these ain’t the same type of black people that I grew up around. I don’t recognize these black people.”
