Biden’s BIG (deadly) LIE

Biden’s BIG (deadly) LIE

While Democrats and their cronies in the Fourth Estate refer to Trump’s refusal to accept the outcome of the 2020 presidential election as “THE BIG LIE,” it pales when compared to the BIG LIE that has been perpetrated by President Biden and ignored by his media pals.

Biden’s BIG LIE is a thousand times more deadly.  It is a far greater threat to the American Republic than the 6-hour riot on Capitol Hill.  It is an assault on American law and American safety.  It is comparable to having the invasion of the Capitol Building occur EVERY DAY.

Of course, I am talking about the crisis … catastrophe … on America’s southern border.  The failure of the Biden administration to secure the border … to even try to secure the border … is a gross violation of his constitutional duties.  The Constitution gives the federal government exclusive responsibility for managing immigration, migrant asylum, and protecting the borders.

In the two years of the Biden administration, there has been an unprecedented exponential number of illegal border crossers – and the worse is yet to come.

Even if you were to accept the exaggerated death toll of the Capitol Hill riot, the number is minuscule compared to the tens of thousands of deaths resulting from Biden’s open borders policy.  Some claim that six deaths were attributable to the riot.  Millions have died because of our open borders – including THOUSANDS of illegal border crossers (men, women, AND children) and border patrol agents.

The suffering and death witnessed by the border patrol have resulted in a spike in Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome – and a record number of suicides – 40-plus.

Biden’s do-nothing policy has resulted in tons of illegal drugs flooding the country – and killing HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of Americans.  The unprecedented wave of crime – primarily in America’s major cities is significantly impacted by the influx of drugs and gangbangers coming over the southern border.

Scores of known terrorists have been identified among the migrants. We have already seen what a few – or even one – terrorist can do.

Americans have been murdered by illegal aliens.  Americans have been killed in auto accidents by illegal aliens.  Law enforcement officers have been killed by illegal aliens.

Thousands of migrants have died along the route and at the illegal points-of-entry.  You will recall that at least 51 bodies were found in a trailer truck in San Antonio – and more recently another 42 bodies in a similar situation.  Even more gut wrenching are those photos of dead children (one of many appears atop this commentary).  The southern American Border is now considered the most dangerous border in the world because of the high death rate.  Worse than the deadly Syrian migration during the Obama administration.

While the ensemble of deaths from many causes is emotionally overwhelming, there are all those other non-lethal crimes – the rapes, sex slavery, beatings, child abuse, and lessor crimes being committed on a daily basis throughout the country by ill-intentioned illegal aliens.

Democrats in Washington – and their mouthpieces in the media – push back at calling the situation at the border an “invasion.”  The term does not seem so inappropriate when you consider that the Democrat’s open borders policy has resulted in many times more deaths than Putin’s horrific invasion of Ukraine.  Ponder that for a moment.

The migrants are not typically a mother and child – as the left likes to stereotype.  Most are young single males who will not qualify for asylum under American laws – and a group that represents the highest percentage of got-aways.  So far, authorities estimate the got-aways at more than one million – and counting.  The got-aways have no intention of seeking asylum, and they are trying to evade authorities since there is a high percentage of the criminal class in those numbers, according to officials.

And what has Biden and the Democrats done to solve the problem?  Nothing to stop the problem – but arguably everything possible to encourage the illegal border crossings – including the creation of sanctuary cities, calls for the elimination or defunding of Immigrant and Customs Enforcement (ICE), providing welfare, schooling, driver’s licenses, and even voting rights to Illegal aliens.  Not defending the border itself is a green light.  Make no mistake, Biden’s and the left’s policy is to ENCOURAGE illegal border crossings – whether that is his intention or not.  I vote “intention.”

Biden appointed Vice President Harris to oversee the border crisis.  Based on her activities, she must have thought the President said to “overlook the border crisis.”  According to the record, she has made one trip to a previously less volatile location on the border — and had a photo-op with Democrat officials and a few migrants.   Biden has made none.  Since then, that location – El Paso – has become a hot spot.

Biden does not even call it a problem.  His Director of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, has repeatedly called the border “secure.”  Biden Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has declared as a finality that “Biden has done the job.”  It would have been more appropriate if she had said he was “done with the job.”  Oh … she did say that.

In a recent FOX interview, White House official Abdulla Hasan actually accused those critical of the Biden open borders policy as being the problem.  He said those criticizing Biden on the border issue are aiding the smugglers for “a quick dollar off of vulnerable migrants.”  Lies do not have to make sense.

Biden and Democrat leaders in states and cities have stopped cooperation with local police forces that are currently overwhelmed dealing with the huge number of migrants and the increasing crime rates in their communities.  Biden never spoke out against those policies – or against sanctuary city proclamations.

Conversely, when Arizona Governor Doug Ducey started to use shipping containers to construct a barrier along unguarded portions of the border, the Biden administration filed a federal lawsuit against him. Incoming Democrat Governor Katie Hobbs has announced her intention to remove the barrier.

The migrants know who is allowing them to enter.  Thousands come carrying Biden flags and wearing Biden t-shirts.  Many express their gratitude to the American President who entices and allows them to enter.

Certainly, Biden is not reversing any of his enticement policies, but there are lots of other things he is NOT doing.  He is not even recognizing the problem or the urgency.  Rather than taking proactive action, he is into his favorite game – the blame game.

He says he inherited the problem from Trump – even though Trump was taking a lot of proactive actions to stem the flow of illegal migrants – and in his last year in office, there were less than half a million border crossers …there was a wall being built … and an agreement with Mexico to retain migrants south of the border.  Biden has had 1.7 million and 2.7 million in his first two years, respectively – and he has stopped building the wall and ended the policy of staying in Mexico until applications for asylum were vetted.

There are tens of millions of dollars of Trump’s border wall laying on the ground, rusting, because Biden stopped the erection of portions of the wall that have already been paid for.

Biden blames Congress for not taking action.  While that is certainly a fair criticism, Biden himself retreats from his role.  He has not used his bully pulpit to pressure Congress.  He has not proposed any legislation.  It increasingly seems that Biden does not want to fix the problem at the border.  He wants to maintain an open border.

But why?

It may seem too Machiavellian for even Biden, but critics keep claiming it is a scheme to produce more and more Democrat voters in the future.  That may well be why Biden, the Democrats, and the left-wing media are more interested in amnesty than stopping the flow of illegal aliens.  Can anyone come up with a more credible theory for the Democrats policy of enticement and open borders?  I cannot.

Regardless of the motivation, one thing is perfectly clear.  The Biden Democrats have no desire to stem the flow of illegal migrants – nor to address the terrible cost to the American people, in money, lives, and safety.

The claims that the humanitarian crisis at the border is not a problem … is not Biden’s responsibility … there is nothing that can be done … is one very huge gargantuan LIE.  And unlike the Capitol Hill riot that was short-lived, the Biden BIG LIE is killing people every day – by the thousands.  And without Trump’s  Title 42, the problem will get exponentially worse.

Hmmmm. Is Biden overtly interfering with the legal operation of government?   Is such a dereliction of Biden’s constitutional duties an impeachable offense?  Certainly, the expanding crisis at the southern border is worthy of at least a Select Committee investigation, if not an impeachment inquiry.

I have never liked the use of impeachment for political purposes.  That standard has been lowered in recent years.  Neither Clinton’s dalliances and fibs – nor Trump’s phone call to Ukrainian President Zelenskyy nor the riot on Capitol Hill – have done as much deadly harm to as many Americans over such a long period of time as has Biden’s open borders policy.

Biden’s unwillingness to protect the border has undermined the rule-of-law – immigration law – and interfered with the functioning of government (sound familiar?).  Despite my previous opposition to impeachments, I think a case could be made that Biden is betraying his oath of office for political advantage.  It is hard to imagine that Biden’s inaction is merely hapless and not intentional – and not for malevolent reasons.

And Biden’s only response to all of this is lies – BIG LIES.  Deadly lies.  “It’s not a problem.”  “The border is secure.”  “It’s Trump’s fault.” “The critics are causing the problem.” “I have done all I can.” “I am working on it.”  “It is Congress’ responsibility, not mine.”  And every year, hundreds of thousands of people will die – directly or indirectly – on all facets of the crisis because Biden does nothing but lie about it.  That is one very tragic BIG LIE.

So, there ‘tis.

Impeach Biden and Harris. Then our Republican speaker will become president

  2. Frank stetson

Do you have any statistics and sources for these deaths, suicides, felonies, etc that you are claiming.

  3. larry Horist

Framk Steson …You are a whiner. First of all, my commentaries depend on readers have a base level of common knowledge — and that they absorb the news of the day, and even do a little research on they own. In the limited space I have, there is little time to provide a full semester in “Current Events. 101” You can throw your same mantra to every writer and talking head in the media. AND … it comes from you, a person who offer “IMO” bullcrap without any substantiation. And of course, you constantly use you imagined Larry Horist as a strawman against which you shadow box. You say what I say when it is not what I said. You have the divine power to tell readers what I think … what I believe. What you do is essentially intellectually unethical. You would be good as a host on MSNBC and a first rate propagandist. But I am okay with being your obsession, Everyone needs a hobby.

Framk Steson? Was that “Horowitz” responding? 😘

Happy Holidays to the guy who can celebrate all three at the same time! And thanks for your gift of humor this holiday season. Almost took the freeze off. Only $10 for a Bills ticket today. FYI: stadium in on the hill just above the Lake. Wanna know why the land was available? Man, it’s colder there than Buffalo itself….

Joke number 1: Larry calls me a whiner and then spends then next few hundred words whining. Never gets old.

Joke number 2: “First of all, my commentaries depend on readers have a base level of common knowledge — and that they absorb the news of the day, and even do a little research on they own.” Oh man, a real knee slapper. Larry reads the comments and says this, what a guffaw.

Joke number 3: “In the limited space I have, there is little time to provide a full semester…..” Because he’s paid by the word and does not like money. Or maybe Joe has a cap to save on server space? He’s limited, that’s for sure, and that’s really funny.

Joke number 4, they just keep coming: “You can throw your same mantra to every writer and talking head in the media.” Maybe here, but not in the real world of journalism.

Joke number 5: “it comes from you, a person who offer “IMO” bullcrap without any substantiation” says the man who can’t respond to the question, do you have any substantiation? Whiner.

Joke number 6, an old Larry favorite: “you constantly use you imagined Larry Horist as a strawman against which you shadow box.” I would say never gets old, but being Frank, I can say it just does not make sense. Pretty funny to see him whine more and more though. I like a guy who is self-deprecating.

Bottom line after all the whine is he simply could have said: No, I do not have any statistics and sources for these deaths, suicides, felonies, etc that I claim are happening. Either know it or find in yourself.

I did find it. And you are totally wrong. Thanks for the chuckle, don’t quit the day job, and have a happy new year.

Frank Stetson … My, my ,my. Some one has undies in a bunch. Did someone tell you that there is no Santa Close. And you have taken up Mike F’s anti-Semitic trope. Shame on your for that. As far as the rest of your loooong and irrational ad hominin attack, I will do you the courtesy of assuming that you have over imbibed at some holiday party when you wrote it. You comment exudes the qualities of an arrogant narcissist — which generally includes low self esteem, a fragile ego and thin skin. Sorry Frank … YOU are the joke. Seriously Frank, your obsession with attacking me through your invented Larry Horist is starting look pathetic. And as a foot note, you are wrong about my pay arrangement with this site. But then again, you are wrong about virtually everything you write about me — or that other character that is addling your brain. You again assume and invent. If you were a book, you would be in the library under fiction. Well … enough of this holiday cheer. I think i know what my New Year’s resolution will be.

What would happen if Congress passes legislation stating that, if you knowingly entered the country illegally, but then applied for citizenship, you must remain a legal alien for five years before you can become a citizen. That should put a kink in the idea that they only reason the present regime wants them here is for the votes. Congress could also help out the US citizens a lot by declaring that English is our official language, and require that anyone wanting to live and work here must speak it.

    • Tom

Persons entering the USA illegally have no voting privilages nor can they obtain a green card. They cannot even get a work permit because that requires that they return to their home country first. So what you propose would actually weaken the system and would be counter what you are seeking. If you offer persons within the USA illegally a citizenship after five years, you would have them coming out of the walls and overload government systems designed to confer confirm and authorize citizenship.

What Biden is doing (if you read any of my other posts on this) is he is short cutting the immigration system. A person claiming asylum who’s claim is approved is able to apply for a green card one year after claim approval. Anyone who is a non-asylum person coming into the USA for jobs etc. must wait five years to apply for a green card. This is why the Biden Administration is calling all of them “asylum seekers”. And if you extrapolate this Biden method over time, you will see that it will be not an algebraic increase, it will be a geometric increase in the Dem base. IF you want to work out the numbers use this formula for growth which I have taylored to the Biden border policy:

Dem post open border membership = (Dem 2019 pre-open border membership) + (persons crossing border claiming asylum) times (natural log “e” = 2.71) raised to the Alpha (rate of approved asylum cases) times (time span of the open border stated in the same time increment used for the Alpha rate). You can see there is an algebraic compoonent due to the addition sign, but, everything after the addition sign is a geometric progression because Alpha and Time are used as exponents.

This geometric progression then gets worse because six years after the date of their approved asylum case, each green card will be able to sponsor one or more new asylum seekers and/or non-asylum immigrants – and this is when the numbers really take off ! Because this is when 2 becomes 4 which is 2 squared (2 to the second power), then in five more years 4 becomes 8 which is 2 cubed (2 to the third power), then in five more years becomes 16 which is 2 to the fourth power…. and so on…. This will lead to permanent Democratic control of our political system.

And do not forget, many asylum seekers in 2023 will be able to vote in local 2024 elections which affect your school board, mayoral, permits and county commissions, real estate tax rates, increases in school budgets for more ESL, funding for law enforcement, all at the local county levels. And due to them getting driver licenses your insurance rates will rise as mine have due to increased coverage for “uninsured motorists”, hospital costs and your bills due to more services not being afforded by the seekers will be tagged onto your bill like it was for my son’s bill, and your county taxes will go up for school and police systems to accommodate this kind of unprecedented county growth.

      • mev

they tried to change the law so they could vote in local state elections and I think they were successful; Federal they are trying.

        • frank stetson

Think it’s like 15 cities, most in Maryland, and no States. Not sure who the “they” is and whether this number of cities, mostly in one state, even could have a “they.” And certainly this is not successful, not at these numbers.

While some immigration advocates might be pushing this, I really doubt it counts as “trying” at the Federal level

  5. Mike F

Larry, You overlook a major point in your ramblings, Biden is attempting to enforce the laws that are on the books, trump did not. In trumps last year in office he used title 42 as an excuse to deport most of the people crossing the border. That is still in effect, though anyone would argue that the stated purpose of the act, to reduce the spread of disease, is not the case (are there any restrictions on anyone in any red state related to Covid?). If you want meaningful change on the border, perhaps you should point fingers at congress-they write the laws of our nation (and provide funding for those laws). There has been inaction by Congress on this issue for years, in both Republican and democratically lead congresses. Recall, Republican Congress refused to fund trumps ill-conceived border wall-so he illegally stole the money from the military. Your writing provides no real suggestions to correct the problem, only an attempted hit job against the dems (and Biden in particular) rather than casting blame for the issue where it belongs..

    • pcwalt

WHAT?! There are laws about who may legally enter, and how that may be done legally. The *FIRST* step in enforcing immigration laws would be to keep anybody who cannot legally enter, from getting in. (International law says that asylum seekers must seek asylum at the first available country they enter, which disqualifies anybody from outside of Mexico from coming *through Mexico* to apply in the U.S.A., because they are internationally required to apply in Mexico, if not before.)

    • Tom

Mike this is the Independent / Unaffiliated point of view:

Mike you have a good point, our immigration system policies and practices need to be fixed – you are correct and this has been stated by most in Congress. Unfortunately both sides have hidden agendas such as building party (Dems) and cheap labor (GOP) which have thwarted all reasonable efforts.

Where I feel your post goes off the rails is by what is called “perverted logic” in that you say Trump did not reform laws, he just used Title 42 to keep them out – and I agree with you. So then you seem to indicate that Dems are not going to use Title 42 and that it is ok to allow them to come over the border in mass because the immigration system is not fixed yet. This is the perversion in logic in that you blame the system for Dem failures, not the Dems taht had the last two years to fix the system before this happened!

Your assessment of GOP resisting funding of the border wall is correct. It only shows the “collusion” going on between the Dem and GOP parties in that they have found a common disaster (border crisis) to unite in purpose around and get their hidden agendas funded, again, Dem hidden agenda is building base, GOP hidden agenda is cheap labor. This is exactly the scenario playing out in the 2022 AZ election.

Still the fact remains, the title of the post is correct when any person of even minimal intelligence sees what is going on at the border and all of the deaths (statistics that Frank rightly questions that would alter the magnitude of the numbers but not the reality that there are death numbers), the title is nevertheless appropriate. And as the Dem party has had congress and the executive branch for two years, one must ask why they have not fixed the immigration system?

      • frank stetson

Not to throw water of your parade, but do you have a source for “Mike this is the Independent / Unaffiliated point of view:” Because as far as I know, you speak for yourself, as an Independent, but not the entirety of the Independent Party.

I couldn’t imagine me saying. “on behalf of all Democrats…..” I would find another “expert” to make those claims.

        Just saying,

But we are very proud of your independence as much as my support of the home team :>)

        • Tom

Frank, if I am an Independent/Unafilliated voter, and if it is my point of view, then it is an Independent/Unafilliated point of view! I cannot find anywhere that I said I speak for all Independents or unaffiliated persons.

If you would prefer that I use the word “an” instead of the word “the”, this is nitpicking IMO but I will happily agree to do so. I will do so moving forward even though I do feel that many of my fellow Independents/Unaffiliated persons are moderates and issue focused and would agree with most if not all of what I have written. We do not have an official party or platform, but we do share a significant commonality of thought. 🙂

          Just sayin…….

And I (lets be clear, not all Independents/Unaffiliated persons) are proud of your steadfast allegiance to the Dem Party. And I am equally proud of Larry’s steadfast allegiance to GOP conservative points of view. I always welcome both of your point of view! 🙂

          • frank stetson

If only you used the “an,” but you did not. You said “this is the Independent / Unaffiliated point of view.” You do the math…..or English…. but unless you feel you are referencing the whole, or if you have actual proof….an is correct.

I welcome all views too, just noting that I am as proud of my party affiliation as you are, and amazingly, think I have the same objective view —- just a different perspective than Republicans and about 50% of the Independents, you for example :>) Not to say we can’t agree; I even agree with Larry upon occasion.

          • larry Horist

Tom … what I like about you is that you are honest and very precise in your observations. I saw that when you referred to my allegiance to “GOP conservative points of view. I consider myself as a conservative first. I do not believe that all Republican leaders reflect conservative principles, but I find almost no Democrat leaders who do. There are a lot of grassroots Democrats who seem to share my opinions on and issue-by-issue bases, but put their partisan allegiance ahead of that. Same for a lot of Republicans.

You are full of more crap than a Christmas goose. Biden isn’t trying to enforce anything except complete obedience to him. At least Trump did the best he could with all of the hostilities against him. We were WAY better off and safer under Trump than we are under this pedophile-in-chief.

      • EUGEN

THANK GOD WE STILL HAVE SMART PATRIOTS IN THIS SCREWED UP COUNTRY THANKS TO BIDEN. NOW WE HAVE MILLIONS MORE CRIMINALS, MORE PEDOS. EVERYTHING GOING WRONG IN OUR COUNTRY IS THANKS TO SENILE BIDEN
WE ALL KNOW THE GUY HAS DEMENTIA, WE ALSO KNOW OBAMA IS PULLING THE STRINGS. NO WONDER THE WORLD IS LAUGHING AT US. OUR ALLIES LOST ALL RESPECT FOR US. THEY HAD RESPECT FOR TRUMP, BUT WHO HAS RESPECT FOR A PUPPET HATING HIS OWN COUNTRY??? THE SOONER HE LEAVES THE BETTER OFF WE ARE.
ONLY IN AMERICA WILL CITIZENS STAND FOR A DISMAL FAILURE. TIME WE GET STRONG AND LEARN TO LOVE OUR GREAT COUNTRY .
PLUS DEMAND LAW AND ORDER . CLOSED BORDERS, EVEN 3D WORLD COUNTRIES WILL NOT LET ILLEGALS IN , OR SUPPORT THEM, WHILE THEIR OWN CITIZENS DO WITHOUT.

I ‘ve lived long enough to recognize that America has fallen so far in only 65 years. It was never We The People who caused it. It was The
Members of the Federal Government with selective aid from many State Governments. Primarily The Democrat Party who have been working
to Change Our America into something never intended. They have done it Bit By Bit almost unrecognizable. But alas the new Leader was found
in 2016 who put up The Road Block on The Road to Perdition We were on. Oh no we can’t have this said The Democrats We must get rid of this
evil being so We can finish our Task. Well they did and once again We are back on the Road to Perdition but not Bit By Bit. It has only taken two
years and as the reults pour in They Had To Cook The Frog now and We The People are the Biggest Losers just what the Democrats wanted

    • Tom

I disagree. Nobody took the power of the vote away from any of us! We the People are to blame. But I am not interested in blame. I am interested in truth in government and sound immigration policy – so lets all get together and have a discussion on this instead of on blame. Blame discussions do not move us forward. Blame discussions are like driving a car forward by looking through the rear view mirror!

      • frank stetson

We used to practice driving by mirror. I can tell you that it can be done!

Of course, less cars back then……

        • Tom

Yes Frank we did the same in my high school driver ed course. But not only was there no cars present, it was usually on an empty parking lot and away from lighting poles and any other known hazards. And while you are correct, we always accomplished it, the fact is we always strayed from the imaginary center line. 🙂 Ahhhh those were the days my friend, we thought they’d never end!!!! Carefree living, Boone’s Farm and Tiger Rose cheap wine, and girls girls girls! Oh if I only had a time travel machine!!! 🙂

  7. Tom

Frank, because I value your criticism of my comments using the word “the” which may imply singular or plural instead of the word “an” which would lean more to singular only (and I will start using “an” to honor your criticism) I did some digging.

Based on this article which includes an indepth poll of all three, Dem, GOP, Ind, I think I can safely say that when I used “the” I was speaking for at least around 80% of Independents on this issue, see ” https://apnorc.org/projects/public-is-concerned-about-bidens-handling-of-immigration-and-border-security/

Overall, almost every poll I read,a I find that my views are centrist with most Independents. The bigger issue is that many Independents have fallen away from Biden.

A very good article of Independents / Unaffiliated voters falling away (in which the border is mentioned) had this to say about we Independents: “They are not so ideologically” engaged, says Coughlin. Instead their view is, “I want to see it work. I want to see the border work; I want to see our country be strong again. I want to see the economy work; I want to see inflation go down.” See “ https://www.cnn.com/2022/03/08/politics/biden-polling-independents/index.html

So while I do believe that I speak for a large swath, at least 70-80%, I will honor my commitment to you to use the word “an” because it is important to me that you be happy and I want to see our blog relationship “work”. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOURS!!!

Always best to check before you speak on others behalf.

Otherwise, you just be a Larry who thinks he covers the Republican waterfront and can throw the Kinzingers out because they only halfway comply. (He was right that kinzinger only rates a 49% conservative vote).

Point is we speak for ourselves. When we tell our friends stories, that’s just an anecdote. You choose a higher path; statistics. We can argue those too, but there’s usually methodologies, source data, etc to make it fair play.

    And then we all spin.

  10. Randy

All this analysis of minutia wording, as always, deflects from what the article was written for, and this is by design. Democrats don’t want to look at the problem because to do so is to look in the mirror. Fact: The border is wide open as designed by the Biden administration. The reason for this is the purchase of many more future democrat votes, regardless of the wreckage being caused daily through death and destruction of American lives Biden doesn’t care about the suffering he is causing our own people, he has abandoned his presidential responsibility to care for the protection and well-being of this country. His policies are NOT comparable to Trump’s, they are the polar opposite. If the Republicans could for once get their own house in order (i.e. McConnell and his band of rhinos) this ciminal-in.chief could be impeached and tried on merit. Unfortunately that probably won’t happen.
