Gangs of illegal aliens, armed and dangerous, have started taking over apartment buildings in American states run by Democrats. Over the past week, two major cities – Aurora (CO) and Chicago (IL) have witnessed such cases of illegal immigrants from Venezuela seizing apartment complex buildings by force.
The story of armed Venezuelan gangs seizing an apartment complex in Aurora, Colorado, made news at the end of August when a video of the armed gang taking over apartments went viral on social media.

Fox News interviewed the Mayor of Aurora, Mike Coffman, about the video and reports of the crime. Coffman, a Republican, confirmed that it was a Venezuelan gang whose presence in this part of the country was a result of the failed federal government’s policy over the southern border.

Despite the video evidence and the acknowledgment of the city’s mayor, confirming the armed Venezuelan gang’s criminal activity, leftist news sources came to the defense of the criminals. After staying silent for days, leftist propaganda publications like Newsweek cited leftist local sources to blame conservatives for trying to politicize the crime and argued that it’s not just the Americans affected by the Venezuelan gang but other migrants as well.
Interestingly, the city’s police department has been shy of admitting the takeover of the apartment complex buildings by the Venezuelan gang while stating that they have created a special task force to address the concerns. Newsweek wrote about the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TdA):
Aurora PD said it believed the influence of TdA was isolated to the buildings in question, adding that it was working with federal and state partners, including the DEA.
Within a week of the news from Aurora, the Democrat-run city Chicago (IL) also reported a similar situation with Venezuelan gangs trying to take over an apartment complex. The Gateway Pundit reported on Tuesday that 32 Venezuelan gang members were reported to 911 for trespassing inside an apartment complex. The story included the audio and transcript of the call that reported the armed gang with guns arriving on motorbikes and filling the stairways of the building.
Conservative X account Libs of TikTok posted the audio and called it an invasion that happened on Kamala’s watch. The post asked what city would be the next target of these gangs.
The crimes of illegal aliens, enabled and facilitated by all Democrats and many compromised Republicans in Congress, continue to plague Americans across the country. The situation is usually the worst in big blue cities like New York where a young illegal alien from Venezuela, Bernardo Raul Castro Mata, killed two cops in June this year. Mata was part of the TdAgang and was allowed to stay in the country by the Biden-Harris administration almost immediately on rushing his case through an immigration court. NYPD told Fox News that these gang members are instructed by their gang to shoot police officers if confronted.
The priorities of Democrat-run states’ authorities also keep the presence and needs of illegal aliens above those of American citizens. Last week, NY state government deployed uniformed military personnel outside the Wolcott Hotel in Manhattan to protect the migrants residing inside.
