Betrayal Hits MAGA over FBI Promotion of Anti-Conservative Agent
Last week dealt another blow to the conservatives who were hoping for justice and accountability by the Trump-appointed leadership at the FBI as an agent from the political enemy camp was promoted to head the FBI field office in D.C. The news sparked outrage in the MAGA base, which sees it as a betrayal.
The promotion of FBI agent Steven J. Jensen by FBI director Kash Patel to run the bureau’s D.C. field office was reported by the New York Times (NYT) on April 4. Jensen reportedly played a key role in the so-called “domestic terrorism operation” following the January 6 protests at the Capitol in 2021 – a witch hunt for Trump supporters who protested the historic election fraud in November 2020. But he is also reportedly responsible for targeting conservative parents who attended school board meetings to register their complaints and opposition to the leftist policies of schools.
Jensen’s promotion by Patel struck some conservatives so hard they found it difficult to believe it at first and questioned the authenticity of the news. But on April 6, conservative news media The Blaze confirmed Jensen’s appointment to FBI’s D.C. field office. The FBI declined to comment publicly on the promotion but the storm of online protest and condemnation of the new FBI leadership, specifically the Director Kash Patel, filled the cyberspace and media.
On Steve Bannon’s show, Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch shared his thoughts on why the MAGA voters feel betrayed by Patel’s promotion of Jensen. He also expressed his disappointment in the overall performance of Trump’s Department of Justice so far on matters of accountability and dismantling the swamp.
In her op-ed in the New York Post (April 9), Miranda Devine called Jensen a villain to the MAGA voters and wrote that his promotion by Patel has sent the wrong message. She wrote that Jensen’s promotion makes those FBI whistleblowers who put their careers on the line to expose Jensen’s weaponization of the bureau feel betrayed.
On social media, conservatives expressed their disappointment and frustration with the FBI that let them down with Jensen’s promotion. The conservative account J6PatriotNews on X praised President Trump’s pardon of January 6 prisoners and added that Jensen’s promotion was not what we voted for, demanding Kash Patel to explain this betrayal.

Free speech advocate and January 6 survivor Philip Anderson wrote: “Kash Patel and Dan Bongino betrayed us all when they promoted Steven Jensen.”
The conservative political commentary duo of twin brothers Keith and Kevin Hodge wrote on their Twitter account “The Hodgetwins” that Jensen’s appointment is unacceptable, adding: “We voted for the FBI to be shut down and corrupt agents sent to prison. But instead they are promoting people like Steve Jensen who put parents on watch lists and hunted J6ers.”

These people pillaged the Capitol and injured over 100 cops. All this guy did was his job. You guys pardoned sex offenders, drug dealers, cop haters, cop beaters, and seditious conspirators. Remember Dunger. With voter ID going to become federal law perhaps people will vote in fair elections. But we can’t let our guards down. Democrats are still crooked assholes. They are already bitching about the legislation. Trying to talk it down. Hmmm. I wonder why. We have to show ID to do almost anything from working to education. And of course gun purchases. Methinks that they want to cheat.

I am a Democrat and could care less about this legislation. I don’t plan to move, am grandfathered for mail-in voting, just waiting for online.

But really, Dempsey calling Democrats “enemies of his state,” is like a Wil Smith movie and we know how that ended up. Dempsey acting like the 1/6/2021 destruction at the Capitol beatdown of cops, law and order, leaving over 100 wounded is like a puddle of puppies is insanity by an anti-American Pakistani that Joe employs for some God knows reason. There is no wide spread cheating. Never proven, many have tried. 65 court cases shot down for 2020? How many 2020 recounts? You listen and you obey a Trumpian reality unhinged from the real world. There is no Democratic voter fraud by illegal citizens. You have never proven any widespread fraud and the immigrant shit, and other onesies, twosies, are usually just a mistake. Probably find more coming from the right than the left. Even your worst fear that immigrants will ultimately vote Democratic is stupid as proven by you saying how many Latino’s swing your way now. Give it a rest. Bunch of scaredy cat fearmongers. And that’s the rub: there’s profit in this crap as Bannon and others have proven. You take the bait, you pay the bill, but it never comes out of Trump’s pocket.
You wonder why some Dems are up in arms, me too. I’m a Democrat and I could care less. My only issue is that you don’t invoke the new law in November of a voting year. You even got four dems to vote OK in the House, but it is DOA in the Senate, if for no other reason than your actions in this session. I can see that as why help you pass any laws even a fairly painless one like this.
