As Feud Continues, Trump Wants to Dump His White House Tesla

A bitter President Trump is planning on parting ways with all traces of Elon Musk, including the Tesla he bought at full price on March 11.

The president is now looking to sell or give away his red Tesla, a White House official confirmed on Friday, June 6.

The vehicle is parked in the White House lot and was meant for staff use since Trump is not permitted to drive due to strict security protocols. The president bought the Tesla in a show of support for Musk, whose vehicles, charging stations, and dealerships were the object of attacks by far-left hooligans.

“We’re going to catch them; they’re bad guys,” Trump said at the time in reference to perps taking flamethrowers and Molotov cocktails to the cars and infrastructure.

“We’re going to catch you, and you’re going to go through hell.”

The Model S retails at a starting price of about $80,000, although the version the president bought appeared to cost more than $100,000.

The 78-year-old also claimed in March to have bought his granddaughter Kai a CyberTruck, which he said had the “coolest design.”

But that was all before the bitter breakup between the two men. Now, any good feeling between the pair of billionaires is likely gone after Musk stepped up his criticism of the Trump-backed “Big, Beautiful Bill” — and then called for the impeachment of the president and a new political party to challenge the GOP.

Meanwhile, as the very public feud between arguably the two most powerful men in the world continues, Trump said over the weekend that there would be “serious consequences” if tech mogul Elon Musk funds Democratic candidates to run against Republicans who vote in favor of the GOP’s sweeping budget bill.

“If he does, he’ll have to pay the consequences for that,” Trump told NBC News in a phone interview, but declined to share what those consequences would be.

“He’ll have to pay very serious consequences if he does that,” he added.

The president also said he has no desire to repair his relationship with Musk after a feud between the two men erupted into public view earlier this week.

“No,” Trump said when asked if he had any wish to do so.

Asked if he thought his relationship with the Tesla and SpaceX CEO was over, Trump said, “I would assume so, yeah.”
