House lawmakers this week held a special meeting to discuss what groups could be funding the leftist riots in the US.
“There have been reports that a lot of these riots are highly organized,” says Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs (R). “Once you start developing the roots of an organization, what you do is you lay the groundwork for some of these ways to get at them financially…If you disrupt their economic flow, then you have a chance to shut them down.”
One group suspected of organizing and exacerbating race-related riots in the US is Antifa, a loose network of anarchists and communists that embraces physical violence. Two of the group’s main goals are combating white supremacy and destroying the use of elections as the primary factor in determining political legitimacy.
In June, President Trump said he would designate Antifa a “terrorist organization” after officials from both parties blamed the group for inciting violence during protests over the killing of George Floyd. As confirmed by FBI Director Christopher Wray this week, the agency is currently investigating a number of “violent individuals” that identify with Antifa.
“Antifa is a real thing,” Wray told lawmakers this week. “It’s not a group or an organization. It’s a movement, or an ideology may be one way of thinking of it.”
Recent reports confirm that China is also playing a role in the civil unrest.

Black Futures Lab is a liberal initiative founded in 2018 by Alicia Garza, a co-founder of Black Lives Matter. Black Futures Lab has been described as the lobbying arm for BLM and for the Movement for Black Lives, an organization that wants to end capitalism.
The Chinese Progressive Association is a leftwing, pro-China group that assists Chinese immigrants and other minority groups. Members of the group regularly participate in BLM demonstrations. From its founding in 1972, the CPA has worked to spread awareness of mainland China’s ideology.
“Support for the PRC was based on the inspiration the members drew from what they saw as a successful grassroots model that presented a viable alternative to Western capitalism,” notes a 2009 Stanford University paper on the origins of the CPA.
The CPA has a close relationship with the Chinese Consulate in New York and has partnered with it to help Chinese nationals renew their passports and to raise the PRC’s flag over its branch in Boston. We can assume the CPA has a direct links to Beijing.
“The Black Lives Matter organizations have been the nerve center of this year’s protests. They have been laying the groundwork for years, carefully cultivating a network of groups that could organize protests when the moment came and amplify the message through social media,” writes Heritage Foundation senior fellow Mike Gonzalez. “Communist China has put its vast propaganda apparatus to work in support of the mayhem that has wreaked havoc in American cities this year.”
Author’s Note: Clearly, China supports the Black Lives Matter movement because the Black Lives Matter movement supports policies that would weaken the United States’ ability to defend itself against China – namely, defunding the police. China’s takeover of the US will be much easier if BLM achieves its goals.
