<p>Kevin McCarthy appeared Tuesday on ;<em>The Sean Hannity ;Show</em> and surprised the world when he said that John Boehner &#8211; the man he intends to replace &#8211; deserves a B minus for his efforts as House Speaker. ;</p>
<p>The interview opened up with a poll showing that over 50% of GOP voters feel betrayed by Boehner&rsquo;s decision to step down. McCarthy is one of them. ;</p>
<p>&ldquo;I think John Boehner deserves a B minus,&rdquo; said Kevin McCarthy, the California Representative predicted to become the next House Speaker. ;</p>
<p>&ldquo;Aw, come on,&rdquo; responded Fox News host Sean Hannity. ;</p>
<p>&ldquo;Now look,&rdquo; said McCarthy, &ldquo;you may disagree with me &ndash; he won a majority, we&rsquo;ve got the highest margin we ever had before, we lowered the deficit&hellip;but you know what? There is a lot more.&rdquo; ;</p>
<p>McCarthy explained that there were over 300 bills passed by the House this year that have not moved through the Senate. ;</p>
<p>&ldquo;The Senate can&rsquo;t change a nuclear option to protect a nuclear-free world?&rdquo; he asked, referring to the failure of Senate Republicans to stop the filibuster rule in an attempt to defeat the nuclear deal with Iran.  ;</p>
<p>McCarthy has already proposed a reconciliation bill designed to dismantle Obamacare. The bill will need only 51 votes to pass through the Senate. It will certainly be vetoed, however, when it reaches the President&rsquo;s desk. ;Although McCarthy does aim to defund Planned Parenthood, Obamacare, and executive amnesty, he did not say whether he would continue to fight if the effort would lead to a government shutdown.  ; ;</p>
<p>As the interview progressed, McCarthy used the Benghazi Committee&rsquo;s stab at Hillary&rsquo;s popularity as an example regarding the type of leader he would be:  ;</p>
<p>&ldquo;What you&rsquo;re going to see is a conservative speaker, that takes a conservative Congress, that puts a strategy to fight and win. And let me give you one example. Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right? But we put together a Benghazi special committee. A select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping. Why? Because she&rsquo;s untrustable. But no one would have known that any of that had happened had we not fought to make that happen.&rdquo;</p>
