Al Qaeda to Jihadists: Assassinate American Business Leaders

Terrorists are now being commanded to attack American business leaders and entrepreneurs – in their own homes. Al Qaeda’s primary online magazine Inspire is calling jihadists to go after targets like Microsoft founder Bill Gates in an effort to impair the US economy.

Other articles urge radicals to emulate the brutal public attacks on Jews in Palestine by stabbing Americans to death on the street.

In addition to the photo above, the latest edition of Inspire features a photo collage of Bill Gates with a pistol and splattered blood. This represents an entirely different sort of target compared to the military leaders typically sought out by ISIS.

According to the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), the most recent issue (titled “Professional Assassinations”) includes detailed instructions on “preparing for and carrying out various targeted assassinations. It stressed that an assassin should possess different options to carry out an attack, which gives him or her a greater chance for success, and elevates the operation to a more ‘professional’ level.”

“Assassination is an effective tool in warfare,” writes Inspire editor Yahya Ibrahim. “The prophet ordered the killing of many criminal leaders using this method…and here we are, following the footsteps of the prophet on how he dealt with his enemies and friends.”

The magazine is published by AQAP (al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula), whose #1 priority is to attack the United States homeland.

“We will never put down our weapons until we fulfill what Allah wants from us,” MEMRI quotes Ibrahim as saying. “We are determined to keep fighting and striking Americans with operations by organized jihadi groups and by Lone Jihad, [and] pursuing America in its homeland – by the will of Allah.”

Another section of the issue is devoted to bomb construction and includes numerous strategies on how to hide a bomb under one’s clothes in order to sneak into an airport or other facility.
