Hillary's Pay-to-Play Tradition: More Corruption Exposed

Hillary Clinton and the notorious Clinton Foundation have been slammed repeatedly for promoting a “pay-to-play” environment, where the largest donors get the choicest appointments. 

Less than two months ago, the Associated Press reported that it cost an average of $1.8 million for someone outside the government just to speak with Hillary when she was Secretary of State. 

This week, USA Today reported that the tight relationship between the State Department and the Clinton Foundation was “closer and more complex than even Donald Trump has claimed.”  

At least 12 of the companies that gave money to the foundation also lobbied the State Department, using individuals who doubled as key Clinton campaign fundraisers AKA “Hillblazers.” These companies donated as much as $16 million to Clinton’s charities. 

To figure out this part of the conspiracy, USA Today compared federal lobbying data (provided by the Center for Responsive Politics) with Clinton Foundation donor lists and federal campaign financial records. 

Clinton Foundation donors who also utilized Clinton-related lobbyists at the State Department include:

• Pfizer – donated between $1 and $5 million while lobbying for intellectual property rights overseas. 

• Microsoft – donated between $1 and $5 million while lobbying for various software, infrastructure, and cybersecurity issues. 

• The Northeast Maglev – donated up to $100,000 while lobbying in support of high-speed, magnetic levitation rail service in the US. 

• ExxonMobil – donated between $1 and $5 million while lobbying in support of fracking. 

If Hillary Clinton is elected next month, she will be the first US president to have had previous involvement with a “charity” that raised millions of dollars related to foreign interests. 

The infamous Clinton Foundation has received millions of dollars in private and state contributions linked to the UAE, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Qatar, and other nations whose interests over the years have directly contradicted those of the US. 

Millions more were donated by companies and special interest groups (in the US) which had something to gain from decisions being made within the State Department. 

Hillary may be crooked, but she isn’t stupid. Just imagine how much money she could amass if she brings her pay-to-play tradition into the Oval Office. 

Editor’s note:  The mainstream media seems to want to cover the imagined sexual escapades of Donald Trump rather than the vast levels of corruption of Hillary’s pay to play scheme. If Hillary carries the day, then perhaps we deserve what we get.
