Donald Trump, The 69- year-old businessman, investor, television personality and author, announced he was running for president on Tuesday. “So, ladies and gentlemen, I am officially running for president of the United States, and we are going to make our country great again,” Trump told the crowd in a lengthy 45-minute speech in front of a New York audience.
Trump has considered the idea of running for president for decades, but now has made it official to a packed room in his Trump Tower building in Manhattan. “Sadly the American dream is dead, but if I get elected president I will bring it back,” Bigger, better and stronger than ever before,” stated trump at the conclusion of his announcement speech.
