Lyme Disease in America Came from Military’s Bioweapons Project
Lyme disease spread in the United States initially through a federal government facility developing bioweapons, analysis of declassified military documents has confirmed. However, the major news sources have chosen silence on the story.
Internationally recognized scientist and physician Dr. Robert Malone published a report on his Substack last week (March 4) confirming the knowledge of long-suppressed research that establishes the connection between U.S. military’s bioweapon experiments of the early 1960s and the first outbreaks of Lyme disease in the country around Lyme, Connecticut. Dr. Malone investigated declassified official documents and independent research suppressed for decades to connect the dots between Lyme disease’s emergence on the east coast and the bioweapons program under President John F. Kennedy that developed pathogenic ticks to drop on Cuba in an act of biological warfare.
Dr. Malone’s article then cited the subsequent release of pathogenic “radioactive ticks” by the U.S. military across Virginia between 1966 and 1969. The article added:
Blood from Lyme patients showed “very strong reactions” to Swiss Agent testing, but this finding was completely omitted from Burgdorfer’s landmark 1982 study that identified the Lyme disease bacterium. The suppression of this research for over 40 years may have contributed to treatment failures in chronic Lyme patients.
Dr. Malone’s article also included the deep connection of this bioweapons project and Plum Island Animal Disease Center, which until 1969 was managed by the Army Chemical Corps for biological warfare research. The facility had multiple “containment failures” and more than 200,000 “soft and hard ticks” of different species kept in tick nurseries on Plum Island, just 13 miles from Lyme, CT, where the disease was first identified.
In 2024, Tucker Carlson interviewed science writer Kris Newby, a victim of Lyme disease and the author of the 2020 book Bitten: The Secret History of Lyme Disease and Biological Weapons, about her research on the topic. Newby mentioned the connection between Plum Island Animal Disease Center and the first reported outbreaks of Lyme disease. She also talked about a local woman who back then tried to draw the attention of the health agencies to these initial cases but the CDC took several years to respond to her requests for urgent attention to the problem.
In January this year, Trump’s FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary stated on PBD Podcast, hosted by Patrick Bet-David, with a high degree of confidence that the pathogen responsible for Lyme disease came from Lab 257 on Plum Island. Citing Newby’s book, Dr. Makary also said that the bioweapon program was the brainchild of a Nazi scientist that was spared and brought to America to develop this pathogen for them. He called the project mad scientists’ work.
Meanwhile, mainstream media continues to ignore the new report as they did previously on reports by Newby and just a few sources with limited circulation have reported on Dr. Malone’s investigation of the declassified files. But social media researchers did not miss the story and reminded that yet another one more of their so-called “conspiracy theories” has come true.

Me post be blocked. Too bad, shot this one down in flames. A crash n burn special. I guess extreme free speech has it’s limits; truth being one of them.
