Disney Paying $10 Million in Settlement for Violating Law on Children’s Privacy
Disney has turned off parents and families both with its socially liberal worldview that is manifest in its productions as well as its irresponsible conduct in matters involving children. For the latter, the company was sued in 2025 and settled for $10 million for violating children’s online privacy law.
In early September of the past year, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced in a press release that Disney agreed to settle with them for $10 million over allegations of allowing to collect personal data of minors under 13 without the knowledge or consent of their parents as required by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection (COPPA) Rule. Disney violated the COPPA Rule by failing to properly label some of its YouTube videos as “Made for Kids.” The FTC release added:
The mislabeling also exposed children to age-inappropriate YouTube features like autoplay to videos not “Made for Kids.”
FTC Chairman Andrew N. Ferguson hailed the settlement as a big victory for parents.
After negotiating the resolution with Disney, the FTC referred the case to the Department of Justice (DOJ) and on December 30, the department announced that a federal court entered a stipulated order under which Disney will pay the $10 million in civil penalties to resolve the FTC complaint. In addition to the penalty, the court ordered Disney to “create a program that will ensure it properly complies with COPPA on YouTube going forward.”
In August last year, Disney settled a lawsuit of wrongful termination brought against the company by actress Gina Carano. A martial artist-turned-actress, Carano sued Disney in 2024 claiming that Disney fired her from the series The Mandalorian because she posted politically incorrect comments on X (back then called Twitter). Conservatives supported Carano and the conflict attracted nationwide attention as Elon Musk came to Carano’s support against Disney. The actress talked about it in her interview with Tucker Carlson.
The details of Dinsey’s settlement with Carano were not made public.
Over the past several years, Disney has continued to lose the conservative audience due to the leftist political and cultural themes in its animated productions made for children. From LGBTQ characters and themes to racially divisive and liberal ideological narratives, Disney cartoons have increasingly flopped at the box office due to lack of interest among the conservative audience in and outside the U.S.
Disney has apparently been taken completely over by Gays and perverts. Maybe its time they are forced to drop the now fake family friendly image and have them come out of the closet and display what they truely are.

Speaking of evidence, their own training tells them don’t step in front of moving cars. Was this guy untrained, stupid, or both? All police training states you can’t shoot someone just for fleeing. It’s law determined by the SCOTUS. Did he skip that training day? Her spouse even noted the license plates; this murderer could have let her pass and picked her up later at her house.
