Old Joe Biden will never serve in the Oval Office in the future

Old Joe Biden will never serve in the Oval Office in the future

The Biden reelection theme is that the nation needs good old “lunch bucket” Joe Biden to continue to lead the nation.  But that is no longer an option.  That Joe Biden will never again serve in the Oval Office because that Joe Biden no longer exists.

The question before voters is whether they want the Joe Biden they saw on the stage – or even worse, the Joe Biden that will inevitably be in significantly worse condition in future years — as the leader of the free world.

Like Lazarus of Bible fame, Team Biden and an inner circle of establishment Democrats are attempting to politically resurrect President Biden from his dead brain performance at the debate.  They are pointing to his more energetic teleprompter rally speech the next day.  Anyone with knowledge and experience with old people suffering mental and physical impairment knows that Biden’s “good day” is meaningless.

People with even more advanced stages of mental decline can generally read quite well.  It is their inability to conjure up and connect memories and thoughts in a cogent manner that is the problem.  That is what millions of Americans saw on the debate stage – and that is the most important takeaway.

The Biden performance understandably brought forth a torrent of concern (panic?) from his most loyal allies and fervent supporters within the Democratic Party — and the hitherto crony journalists.  The calls from Biden to withdraw from the race abounded throughout the land.  It came from Republicans, of course, but also Democrats and left-wing newsies and the public in general – up to 70 per cent of whom think Biden needs to retire to Delaware.

In the aftermath of the debate, several reporters who have been covering the campaign blew away the “one bad day” defense.   They said that the Biden we saw on the stage was the Biden they saw every day for the past year.    Alex Thompson of Axios – among others — reported that the Biden he saw on the stage is the same Biden he sees every day.  Others went so far as to say that the State of the Union Speech was the outlier – not the debate.  MSNBC’s uber Biden supporter, Donny Deutsch – who is billed as a “branding expert” – called Biden’s problem “unfixable.”

Many say that the decision to remain in the race or exit is up to Biden alone.  Maybe not.  From the performance at the debate, Biden may not be in the best frame of mind to make such a critical or rational decision.   It is the influence of his wife, family, close friends and key staffers that matter most.  And they all have every reason to want him to continue – even if the odds of winning are diminishing.  It is a question of their power over his well-being that is driving this train.

The decision to stay the course is not an irrevocable decision.  Perhaps it is only a temporary decision to get him past the nomination.  Stepping down now would create chaos and havoc at the convention with various candidates fighting for the nomination. Stepping down after the convention would give Vice President Harris the leg up. Biden could even hand Harris the presidency by resigning the office after the convention.  She would then inherit the Biden/Harris campaign structure and money – something no other candidate could match.

So … is the decision to remain and fight a permanent decision?  We really do not know.  But … at the moment, Biden is all in.  The question of the moment is how is Team Biden going to overcome what America saw on the debate stage?

The answer came soon.  They are going back to the longstanding cover-up – re-running the past lies about his vitality.  In a conference call with major donors, one participant said that Biden may be in better shape than a lot of those on the phone call. A former New York State Senator implied that Biden’s only defect is the residual of his childhood stutter.  The claims of a superhuman Biden – the most energetic person in the room – were lies that many Americans see through.

It is the lie that Team Biden is again using to gaslight the American people.  Spokespersons are again taking to the airwaves to make ridiculous hyperbolic and mendacious claims that Biden is fit.  It was just a cold. It was exhaustion from his overseas trips. It was over-prepping by his advisors.   Uh huh!

They want voters to remember the Biden of years gone by.  They talk about all he HAS done – avoiding the issue of his abilities to perform and achieve in the all-important future.

The Biden reelection theme is that the nation needs good old “lunch bucket” Joe to lead the nation.  But that is no longer an option.  That Joe Biden will never be in the Oval Office because that Joe Biden no longer exists.  The question before voters is whether they want the Joe Biden they saw on the stage – or even worse, the Joe Biden that will inevitably be in significantly worse condition in the future.

If Biden does not withdraw now and he gets reelected, I see no chance that he will complete a second term.

So, there ‘tis.

The old bastard could pretend to be president while sitting in a rest home. They could design him an Oval Office
