AOC and Her “Squad” Won’t Condemn Hamas!!
In the wake of shocking videos that show Hamas thugs burning babies alive in front of their parents during their horrific and unprovoked attack on Israel, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) and her ilk won’t condemn the demonic terrorists!
AOC and the rest of New York’s socialist politicians are showing their true colors — and they’re not pretty.
Of 17 hard-left “progressives” that the NY Post called for reaction to Hamas’ massacre of Israelis and demonstrations celebrating it in NYC, not one offered a simple, unequivocal condemnation.
Leaving this writer and many others to wonder, do their constituents have any idea how morally bankrupt their representatives truly are?
After Hamas terrorists savagely slaughtered more than 1000 Israelis and kidnapped 150 others (grandmothers, babies, young kids), when Israel’s supporters and those who’ve lost loved ones are still grieving, pro-massacre protesters at a NY rally came out to rub salt in the wound.
Some brandished swastikas; others burned the Israeli flag.
Yet none of the soulless New York politicians the Post contacted, including AOC that the Post says in contact, could state in simple, unadulterated language what should be a moral no-brainer: that Hamas’ butchery is repugnant, and nothing whatsoever justifies it.
The Post says that it reached out to Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jamaal Bowman, state Sens. Julia Salazar, Jabari Brisport, and Kristen Gonzalez, five Assembly members, five City Council members, Public Advocate Jumaane Williams, and city Comptroller Brad Lander.
Most couldn’t bring themselves even to return the call, knowing New Yorkers would be repulsed by their callous inhumanity.
Of the three Dems who did comment, they gave only shockingly muddled statements.
Brisport broadly condemned any “glorification of death” but made sure to blast supposed “atrocities against Palestinians.”
Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani condemned the protester’s “rhetoric” but also noted his “support for Palestinian liberation.”
AOC didn’t respond or comment on the rally, and while she did blast Hamas’ attack on Saturday, she also railed about the Jewish State’s “oppression and occupation.” She also babbled incomprehensibly about proposing a ceasefire that would allow the terrorists to retain their hostages and face no consequences for their Satanic actions.
Lander also never returned the Post’s call but, like AOC, slammed the protest in a tweet while also stressing the need to work for “an end to the [Israeli] Occupation.”
City Councilwoman Tiffany Cabán, meanwhile, tweeted her “heart is with” all Israelis and Palestinians killed, but “nothing can free everyday Israelis from danger and fear unless it also frees everyday Palestinians from oppression and occupation.”
Last time I checked, the only ones occupying and oppressing “innocent” Palestinians was Hamas itself!
This writer is a Jew, and we Jews know better than anyone what happens when people can’t call out evil for what it is.
The squad is hoping that Hamas attacks our country. They are part of the crowd that thinks America should be brought down. Keep electing their type and letting retards steal our elections and it’s going to happen. Those fools run in districts that don’t give a damn about our country and constitution. At least Bill Sheridan credits his plagiarism to the NY Post this time as he modifies the story to fit his BS spin.
First, they called NY progressives. BS on BS for his lie of: “AOC AND HER “SQUAD” WON’T CONDEMN HAMAS!! Of the six “members” of the Squad, only two come from NY — one spoke on the record.
Second, “AOC and the rest of New York’s socialist politicians are showing their true colors” is another lie as the NYPost only dealt with NYC, not NY. And they only dealt with 17 out of the over 60 Democrats.
From the NYPost article and conveniently left off the BS: “After publication, Ocasio-Cortez, described by the DSA as its “foremost socialist superstar,” told The Post in a statement that she denounced the acts of “bigotry and callousness” that took place at the rally.
“It should not be hard to shut down hatred and antisemitism where we see it. That is a core tenet of solidarity,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “The bigotry and callousness expressed in Times Square on Sunday were unacceptable and harmful in this devastating moment. It also did not speak for the thousands of New Yorkers who are capable of rejecting both Hamas’ horrifying attacks against innocent civilians as well as the grave injustices and violence Palestinians face under occupation.”
But she released a statement on X on Saturday about the attack in general, saying, “Today is devastating for all those seeking lasting peace and respect for human rights in Israel and Palestine.
“I condemn Hamas’s attack in the strongest possible terms. No child or family should ever endure this kind of violence and fear, and this violence will not solve the ongoing oppression and occupation of the region. An immediate ceasefire and de-escalation is urgently needed to save lives.””
Another DSA rep, Brisport said: “Brisport, who won re-election in 2022 with the support of the DSA, issued a statement to The Post saying: “I continue to oppose any minimizing or glorification of death and warfare, including in statements made at a rally yesterday. I also oppose the right’s exploitation of this horror to mislead the public, score political points, and justify further atrocities against Palestinians.””
Another DSA-er, Mamdami said: “Mamdani, a DSA-backed lawmaker, told The Post in a statement: “My support for Palestinian liberation should never be confused for a celebration of the loss of civilian life. I condemn the killing of civilians and rhetoric at a rally yesterday seeking to make light of such deaths.”
A day before, he posted a statement on X which read, in part, that the “path towards a just a lasting peace can only begin by ending the [Israeli] occupation and dismantling apartheid.”
Note that it IS possible to hate apartheid and butchery at the same time. In truth, the NYPost article indicated that half the folks responded, or were on record as condemning the violence BS is just bs.
Not condemning the HAMAS, then they are condoning the murder of American citizens!!! These creatures, along with Bernie Sanders have no place in our government!!!
Bernie has a place! I enjoy his picture of him sitting there with his new mittens. Classic! The point of democracy and governing by the consent of the governed is that we all have a place and a say, even the socialists. If nothing else, Berine may be a good reminder of what we are heading for if we do not speak up with our vote and hold our politicians accountable.

The fact the Squad believes what they say and uses their action to prove it is wonderful.

I watched an Israeli American today. He is in his young thirties, grew up in Boston for his first 25 years, and has been in Israel, living in an Palestinian community, and is now a dual Israeli citizen too. Because he got there at 26, he is not called up but is spending all his time raising money and supporting the troops.
He said his Arab neighbors treat him with the utmost kindness in the street. No issues, none expected. No hate either. 20% of Israel is Palestinian Arab Israelis. He said he supports the military and all of it’s efforts while he feels Gaza has Hamas, evil, and Palestinians, not evil, just trapped.
Compared to your views, and your stupidity in readily accepting lies if they feed your frustration, his was a mature, measured, and meaningful view. And he’s only 30, what’s your problem? I won’t even say hatred, because you probably have never even met a Palestinian. You just got your knickers in a knot and looking for release.
OK: one more time. There’s brutality and there’s apartheid, sometimes in the same place even at the same time. It’s possible to oppose both. Israel has a right to defend itself. IMO they have the right to do what they are doing. Those living in apartheid have the right to be free. Remember, there’s 20% Arabs in Israel. They can maybe get 2% of the Knesset, parliament; it is so constrained they don’t try. That’s not freedom. Our 13% Black population holds about 13% of the House. But only 3% of the Senate, 2% of Governors. Israel is in control, therefore, they are more than 50% of the apartheid problem.
I have no problems siding with Israel in the current hostilities, however, I also oppose apartheid blaming Israel for most of it. After this is over, hopefully they will attempt to remedy the issue and free the subjected. One can only look at the map to see the difficulty in any potential solution.

I watched another Israeli today, this guy a renown somebody with a son who just died, a brother in an earlier war, surely enough to get a good hate on, for good reason. I get it.
Then he makes the comment that Gaza Palestinians are to blame for not rising up against Hamas when they first realized the evil.
Somehow I was taken back to early 1940’s Germany with a similar question which I would never express. Would not even bring it up here except for his comments.
Hamas is evil, barbaric, and must be snuffed out. Forever. But blaming the entire Gaza population for not stopping them is really a bridge to far. Especially given Israeli history. Misplaced blood lust is wrong, we need to rise to the occasion and have the focus to do the right thing, the right way. Israel is at war. They MUST regard the International rules of war whenever possible.
When they come after our wallets for this new war, and they will with Tax payer money.
