Adam Schiff Deserves a Headline for Screwing America
The skeletons in US Rep. Adam Schiff’s (D-CA) closet are coming out in full force to protest his recently-announced bid for the US Senate.
“Adam Schiff lied to the American people, and during my time as CIA director and secretary of state, I know that he leaked classified information that had been provided to him,” argued Mike Pompeo, the only person to have ever served as both CIA director and secretary of state.
“It’s difficult to pin down precisely what happened…But I could tell you that when we provided information to him and to his staff, it ended up in places it shouldn’t have been with alarming regularity. We could see it. In the end, I decided I held back information from them as a result,” admitted Pompeo.
Schiff served as Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee from 2019 until this year, when his nomination to continue serving on the panel was rejected by by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).
“I cannot put partisan loyalty ahead of national security, and I cannot simply recognize years of service as a sole criterion for membership on this essential committee,” said McCarthy, adding that the “misuse” of the committee “during the 116th and 117th Congresses severely undermined its primary national security and oversight missions – ultimately leaving our nation less safe.”
The House Intelligence Committee is uniquely important in that it is tasked with oversight of the US Intelligence Community. Though it shares some jurisdiction with other House committees, it is privy to information that other lawmakers can’t see and that the press can’t verify. There is no reason why an individual like Schiff should be trusted with this responsibility.
“I watched the House Intelligence Committee under the leadership of Adam Schiff,” said Pompeo. “I watched him denigrate and lower its ability to actually perform its function. When he was out talking about the Russia hoax, going on to say that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation, knowing that it almost certainly was not.”
Schiff has a reputation as one of the most vocal proponents of the Russia collusion hoax and has repeatedly been accused of lying to the public. As I wrote last month, his efforts in 2018 to stymie the release of a memo written by Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) likely kept the Russia collusion narrative going for far longer than it otherwise may have.
In February 2020, shortly after Schiff had served as the lead manager in the first impeachment of Donald Trump, Trump accused Schiff of leaking sensitive information to the press in order to harm the reputation of then-presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.
“I read where Russia is helping Bernie Sanders,” said Trump. “Nobody said it to me at all. Nobody briefed me about that at all…They leaked it, Adam Schiff and his group. They leaked it to the papers and – as usual – they ought to investigate Adam Schiff for leaking that information.”
As expected, Schiff’s team has portrayed all of the criticisms against him as defamation.
“While we understand that Adam Schiff is a favorite target for the failed lackeys of the Trump administration running for president, reputable news outlets shouldn’t repeat these falsehoods,” said Schiff spokesperson Lauren French.

When you have facts, come back jack and then attack him in court, under oath in Congress, anywhere you can actually prove something because you don’t litigate it on PBP. Especially you.
I agree Frank, I would like lots of candy and nuts. Now on Shifty Shift, I agree with you. Take it to him in federal court, not court of opinion. But I do give some credence to Pompeo’s repeated observations. What Pompeo most certainly did was give him info knowing that he is the only one that has it besides Pompeo himself, and then he watched where the info landed. Pompeo is saying that he does not know how it got there, but I know it got there – and nobody else had it. This is often done. So there is this legal thing called the preponderance of the evidence which I will award to Pompeo. Also Pompeo is in a position to know what was on that laptop, and that Shift was lying. Shift is shifty, which is why they call him Shifty Shift. Even the Russians call him that! I think he should be prosecuted for the laptop lies that he told Congress. McCarthy is right to get him off of the Intel Committee. Put him on the Flowers committee or something where if he leaks info, nobody cares. But still prosecute him.

Consider your references: Trump calling him Shifty and the Russians repeating it. What could go wrong with that?
Consider: “Pompeo is in a position to know what was on that laptop,” right after he got his copy of a copy from Rudy? Or was the CIA peeping on the FBI? Maybe you want to check with the Russians on this :>)
Consider who Pompeo carries water for; a President with the all-time record for Presidential lying. A President who walks back a lie by adding another lie on top. A guy who doesn’t read who steals a library to top secrets for his storeroom. Before being President, he was in real estate — need I say more. But wait, there is more — let’s hear from the Pompeo in his public persona:
“I was the CIA director. We lied, we cheated, we stole… we had entire training courses.” He gave this speech in Texas, he was beaming at the laughter. So, he’s a trained and experienced liar who lies as part of his basic job requirements. It’s how he makes a buck. Do you expect him to change in the Oval Office or beyond. Do you expect any other country to believe this SoS? Sure, everyone gets things wrong, embellishes, spins, — this guy gets paid for it, megaphones out that he does it all the time, and he is worth his pay apparently.
Nikki Haley recently said Pompeo’s claim that she actively plotted to replace Pence as VP is his normal “lies and gossip to sell a book”.
Pompeo lives in the cold war: he alleges to this day that Chinese African investments in will destroy Africa’s sovereignty by creating a debt trap breeding corruption and dependency on the Chinese. He has no support and it’s been decades.
Jamal Khashoggi’s widow called out Pompeo’s book for his claim of “faux outrage” surrounding her husband’s death which he dismisses as a nothing burger. She says she can’t believe he needs to make money this way on top of her husband’s mutilated body parts. “Whatever he mentions about my husband, he doesn’t know my husband. He should be silent and shut up the lies about my husband,”
Pompeo and Conway claimed Trump never threatened Iran with destruction of cultural sites over his killing of Soleimani. They lied, he did, it’s on tape.
Pompeo wrongly stated that Assad controls a small fraction of Syria. Assad held most of Syria at the time. He lied to make Trump look better.
CIA head Pompeo lied that Trump changed China’s policy on North Korea’s nuclear program. He didn’t, Pompeo strikes again.
It’s hard to expect anyone who is Trump’s mouthpiece to tell the truth.
On the laptop: I would love to see “how treasonous the content” of Hunter’s supposed laptop is, one way or the other, and have said as much on PBP.
Problem is we don’t know except you think you have heard and what others have said NOT UNDER OATH. We are a nation of laws, innocent until proven guilty, and beyond a shadow of a doubt, not preponderance of the evidence on this one. When I read up on it, it’s a shit sandwich of a crime scene where it’s like you held a rave party after the crime.
What we know is:
1. A blind, Trump supporter, computer shop owner in Delaware alleges Hunter, but he can’t be sure, he’s blind, and has no signed receipt by Hunter that he can testify to, claims he made a copy of Hunter’s drive.
2. There is all sorts of salacious materials, most of which are not validated 100% at Hunter’s.
3. The NYT did validate some emails, a few, pertaining to Hunter’s tax issues BUT cannot prove they were sent to that laptop or might have been copied onto it later.
= more emails have been authenticated, but still not as being on the drive or placed there or placed in Hunter’s mailbox.
4. The blind Trump supporter computer shop owner took the copy and basically transmitted to the world. The NY Post got one, Ghouliani got one, Bannon has it —— whatever — and God only knows what they did with the contents to preserve or manipulate the data.
5. Beyond the emails, nothing else is validated as Hunter’s although it is expected that more emails are, some of the data files are or will be. However, even there, there are letters originated from Burisma which theoretically could have been faked at the Burisma side of the transaction, a typical Russian hacker scheme. The NYPost could not validate over 100,000 of the emails.
6. While the shit on the laptop is salacious, ties Hunter to Burisma as we already know, it does not implicate Joe except to say his son is a loser who capitalizes on Dad’s name. Opponents say it damages Joe, but no materials validated do that. Just like the Trump kids, except they don’t let the salacious out yet.
7. While most conclude the laptop indeed was Hunter’s, no one concludes that most of the data being passed around like candy is not manipulated or authentic as Hunter’s. Maybe 100,000 authenticated emails, although no one can say they were not placed there, and maybe another 100,000 that cannot be validated as Hunter’s.
8. The big Burisma meeting with Joe Biden, unveiled by the laptop, was a drive-by Joe made to say hi to a friend. There was no meeting per se with Burisma according to eyewitnesses.
The history of the laptop is, first, the blind Trumpian computer guy said someone claiming to be Hunter dropped it off, signed something and then he decides to publish the contents just THREE Weeks before the 2020 election. His manner of “publishing” was to give a copy to Ghouliani who made a copy and gave it to the NY Post who published. A clean chain of custody that would never stand up in any court. At some point, the FBI seized the actual laptop.
In April of 2022, the computer shop owner said: “I do know that there have been multiple attempts over the past year-and-a-half to insert questionable material into the laptop as in, not physically, but passing off this misinformation or disinformation as coming from the laptop. … And that is a major concern of mine because I have fought tooth and nail to protect the integrity of this drive and to jeopardize that is going to mean that everything that I sacrificed will be for nothing.”
I hope get to the bottom on this, but the chain of custody is broken and I doubt we ever will UNLESS there is secondary sources on the info which, for the emails, is a real possibility. But Pompeo knows squat. He’s not FBI. He has a copy at best and a thirst to lie for attention and profit.

You have forgotten about the NY Times authentication of the laptop. And Kashoggi’s wife has good reason to hate Pompeo and lie about him. Pompeo knows what all the crap he was involved in and Pompeo was watching him. She has good reason to try to discredit him, he knows the truth about the man! The computer repair guy stated it was Hunter’s laptop because he wanted to get paid for fixing it, and, he saw what all was on it. The FBI even finally admitted it was Hunter’s laptop. There is no dispute at this point that it is Hunter’s laptop and the emails have been authenticated as his own. There is plenty of hard evidence against Hunter which is why Joe gets so pissed when anyone mentions Hunter. Lets not forget how much Burisma was paying Hunter for nothing. And lets not forget Hunter’s child support affair where the Biden’s tried to deny it all – until the DNA test showed otherwise! The hooker won that one! LOL Much of what you say in your elaborate defense of Hunter is “what ifs” and hypotheticals, conclusions about chain of custody you cannot prove. I can understand you not liking Pompeo, I am not a big fan of his either. And you already know I am not a fan of Trump. But really, the Hunter defense is absurd and wreaks of sniffing glue buddy.

Re the laptop, my point is, at this point, sure, love to know what’s in his private emails. Matter of fact, I think everyone’s private mail should be put on the internet just like Hunter’s. Diaries too. Why not? It’s what Republicans do.
It is on little value in a court of law due to chain-of-custody issues.
What we have seen is a copy of a copy; the way they have authenticated I think is from addressing and there’s lots of denials from other “experts.” IOW, they know it came from such n such server and does not look tampered with. They don’t know if perhaps it was placed on that server, or on the drive for that matter.
Not without a shadow of a doubt.
Use the WIKI for “Hunter Biden laptop controversy” and scroll down to “Forensic analysis” and basically you see a battle of the experts with assessments going both ways. My point is legally this is a mess. In court, they will probably look for secondary sources to validate what they need.
Then ask yourself this: do you have any email on your laptop? I don’t and haven’t for decades. I have been in the cloud, or on the server via a client/server application, for decades. There’s no stinking email on my laptop and I have not downloaded for decades too. Just wondering how stupid is this guy Biden or what year is he operating from?
I am pretty sure this stuff is alive and well in the court of public opinion, where reading someone’s private mail, looking that their stolen diaries, peeking in their windows with telephoto lenses is all the Republican rage, just so you can profess utter bullshit conspiracy theories backed by rumor and inuendo, but in terms of real court, under oath, perjury attached, — chain of custody issues will probably tank most of Hunter’s copy of a copy hard drive unless they have second sources like the email’s other half.
