What is so good about Biden’s good news claims

What is so good about Biden’s good news claims

Democrats and their media cronies are pushing a claim that Biden has achieved wonderful things for the American people, but the message is not getting out.

If you consider just how many times every day, Democrats and the media tout Biden’s claimed successes, one cannot conclude that the folks back home have not heard Biden’s good news message over and over.

According to Democrat theology, if the people knew of all those wonderful things Biden and Democrats claim to have done, the election polling numbers would be trending in their favor.  But they are not.

What Democrats and the left-leaning media cannot – or will not – consider is that the people may not agree that all those things Biden did – and many things he does not brag about – are good news.

The first problem for Democrats is that there is a lot of bad news for Biden to offset the alleged good news.  There is the inflation … product shortages … crime …. border crashers … a drug epidemic … school indoctrination … nutty and dangerous identity politics … Afghanistan …  OPEC+ sticking it to Biden … anti policing by Democrat office holders … etc… etc…etc…

The hyperbolic claims of insurrection … coups … and voting suppression … the end of democracy …  are obviously not selling well among we the people no matter how hysterical the reporting from the left gets.

With all that running against them, Democrats hoped that the overturning of Roe v. Wade would be a game-changer.  As I noted in several commentaries, abortion is not an issue that drives votes except for a very small number of single-issue folks on both sides of the partisan divide.  It never has been the issue to decide an election – and will not be this time.

Just look at the polls and you will see abortion way down the list of issues that will drive the vote.  Inflation is number one.

All that is left is the effort we see as Democrats and the media desperately try to pump life into the good news claims.  They basically are talking about the passage of several bits of legislation.

Democrats speak of the “benefits” of those actions – but the voters see the downside.  If you are worried about current and future inflation, you may be inclined to see all the money spent on the Biden legislation – estimated in the $4 trillion dollar range – as a contributing cause of the inflation.

Forgiving student debt is a double-edged sword – and there may be more opposition than support.

The promise to reduce medical costs will not be seen for some time, if at all – and by then inflation will overtake the benefits, as it has with the wage increases for which Biden takes credit.  It will also take time for the jobs program to produce real jobs.

You may recall how President Obama said jobs were “shovel-ready” in conjunction with his jobs program – and they were not.

Sorry, Mr. President.  Your problem is not that voters have not heard of your good news programs.  It may be they are not necessarily seeing them as good news.

So, there ‘tis.

That about sums it up, and we have two more years of it. Fortunately his supporting cast in Congress will not have a majority anymore so some of the damage will be mitigated.

You say “hyperbolic” in reference to Biden and the Democrats claims. While the actual case is your disparagement of Biden, his person, his policies, his programs, his proposals, his everything has been over the top hyperbolic.
If the day’s news reporting happens to be slow, in comparison to everyday multiple Trump presidential gaffs reported then, you trot out parts of previous commentaries’ declarations as support for present day assessments. Beating the same off cadence drum over and over does not change general cadence. Banging on louder in the same vein for successive verses including the refrain is the essence of hyperbolic sounds and furry.
Had 45 been given another term and the same challenges over the past 22 months. Different philosophy for handling multiple delicate issues domestic and international, to be sure. What, then, would you prioritize your topics for commentary? As Biden’s presidency is your target at present together with all Democrats in general, doubtful your commentary would include the intense scrutiny dissection employed on Biden & Co.
Watching Trump’s trajectory in office, especially the last year, his continuing a second term would have brought a different outlook with their own consequences. With all the honesty you may muster, can you truthfully say the nation would be in a better place? Consider international relations with China, Russia, N. Korea then think of where the US’s relationship with NATO under Trump would be in Putin’s war on Ukraine. The FPOTUS asserts he could have convinced Putin otherwise. Which indicates his deficient understanding of all things Putin in addition to that about NATO and Ukraine.
All things being equal beginning in January 2021, speculate on Trump’s methods dealing with the national economy, political division, social Justice, gun violence, Russia/Ukraine war, just the tip of the iceberg? Giving you the benefit of the doubt that the events on 1/6 complicating history would not have been.
History often is prelude for future personal positions, hence opinion’s being static. Therefore, past recorded opinions predict future commentary.

Ace … I offer my opinions based my conservatives philosophy and years of experience in dealing with public policy at all levels. If you are saying that I see very little I like about Biden and the Democrats’ autocratic far left policies, you have read me accurately. As far as any repetitious comments, I base my commentaries on the news of the day. If you had not noticed ,it is the same old crap day after day. Try to find one day the the left-wing press does not show the Capitol Hill riot. I offer opinions based on facts and knowledge. To many on the left arrogantly express their opinions as if they are facts.

John, in your last remark, you are mixing Biden up with the Clintons.
