Trump’s Impeachment Lawyer Calls Out Left-Wing Media
The left-wing biased “mainstream media” continues to create a false narrative about the outcome of President Trump’s second impeachment trial. But Trump’s impeachment lawyer is not letting them get away with it.
President Trump’s impeachment lawyer, Michael van der Veen, dispelled mainstream media’s false claims about Trump’s acquittal. He refuted an attempt by a CBS reporter to downplay the significance of Democrat impeachment managers selectively editing evidence for the Senate trial.
“The media has to start telling the right story in this country. The media is trying to divide this country,” van der Veen said. “You are bloodthirsty for ratings.”
Van der Veen also pointed out that Democrats committed massive wrongdoing during the sham impeachment. And the mainstream media is covering that up.
Responding to the reporter, van der Veen said, “I can’t believe that you would ask me a question indicating that it’s alright just to doctor a little bit of evidence. There’s more stuff that we uncovered that they doctored, to be frank with you, and perhaps that will come out one day, but we won this case.”
Van der Veen also said that the conduct of Democrat impeachment managers is inexcusable. The media must stop siding with them.
Meanwhile, someone vandalized van der Veen’s home. Someone spray-painted the word “TRAITOR” in red on his driveway in suburban Philadelphia, according to police. The vandalism occurred around 8 p.m. on Friday at attorney Michael van der Veen’s residence in West Whiteland Township, Pennsylvania, about 30 miles southwest of Philadelphia.
There have been no arrests, Detective Scott Pezick of the West Whiteland Township Police Department told ABC News. Pezick said the homeowner has hired private security to protect the residence. Police presence has also been beefed up in van der Veen’s neighborhood.

The best way to handle issues such as this one would be to remove slander and libel from the civil courts and make them criminal offenses. Any media outlet that tells a provable and harmful lie about a politician could then be charged without someone having to come up with money to support a civil suit. If we expand that to the social media sites, we can prohibit them from banning anything not already illegal, and hold the posters, rather than the sites, responsible for libel and defamation of character.

I was on the fence about American politics before the last election. I understand bipartisanship and the ensuing power struggles for compromise. What I will not accept is the out right falsehoods being spewed by the media and leftist corporate America. As much as I distrust Republicans I am now coming to understand why it is time to rid the USA of the Democratic Party and the deception that they have perpetrated on the American public.
