Attorney General Supports Lawsuit Against Transgender Athletes
Attorney General William Barr on Tuesday released a statement in support of a federal civil rights lawsuit that seeks to prevent transgender athletes in Connecticut from competing as women in interscholastic sports.
The lawsuit was filed in February by a group of female track and field athletes who are sick of losing races to biological males who identify as females.
State rules allow transgender girls to compete in women’s sports even if they have not completed the sex change process.
“Mentally and physically, we know the outcome before the race even starts,” complains Alanna Smith, a sophomore at Danbury High School. “That biological unfairness doesn’t go away because of what someone believes about gender identity. All girls deserve the chance to compete on a level playing field.”
The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) argues its policy allowing trans athletes to compete without restrictions is “appropriate under both state and federal law.”
The plaintiffs insist the policy makes a mockery of Title IX, the law that established female sporting teams at schools.
“Males will always have inherent physical advantages over comparably talented and trained girls – that’s the reason we have girls sports in the first place,” argues attorney Christiana Holcomb. “And a male’s belief about his gender doesn’t eliminate those advantages.”
In allowing biological men to compete against biological women, the CIAC is clearly failing to acknowledge the physiological differences between men and women, writes Barr. “In so doing, CIAC deprives those women of the single-sex athletic competitions that are one of the marquee accomplishments of Title IX.”
The two trans athletes named in the suit are represented by the ACLU, which argues that its clients are “just trying to enjoy their final track season of high school…and now have to contend with the federal government arguing against their right to equal educational opportunities.”
In my view these transgender types are the worlds worst cheaters. They are attention seeking narcicists and should of be allowed to compete with females. They may want to look like women but the are essentially male. And they are not pretty.
Being Transgender is a choice. Chromosomes tell the truth. You compete with what your chromosomes say you are. If you don’t like it then you don’t compete. Simple enough. Just because your head is screwed on backwards does not mean you have a good reason to screw over others.
If a straight man is considered a male, and a straight woman is considered a female, why shouldn’t a gay man be considered a queer and a gay female be considered a lesbian? Men compete against other men and woment compete against other women. Then gay should only compete against other gays and lesbians should only compete against other lesbians. You can’t have it both ways.
The Straight Olympics, the Paralimpics, the Special Olympics and the Gay Olympics! Keep apples with apples, oranges with oranges, plums with plums and kumquats with kumquats!

The transgenders compete against others of that – or what they want to be called – types.
They can train with the regular teams and have their own section of the meets / games.
I agree….. It’s not right that a transgender should run against females (biological) because they don’t have no chance against them! Sorry but transgenders should have their own league…. To be on an equal ground!
Wrong headline!! The lawsuit isn’t against transgender athletes; it is an effort to prevent transgender biological males from taking unfair advantage of females in sports, where they have an unfair advantage. The headline is similar to those headlines and even entire articles that proclaim Christians are against gays. Transgenders can compete against others of their biological sex, just as any other athletics can. Before the gay marriage decision by the Supreme Court, gays could generally marry anyone of the opposite sex, if they so chose, just as anyone else could. Christians haven’t been against gays; they have, however, been against the Supreme Court’s demeaning of real, natural marriage and the celebration through government-endorsed marriage of a deviant, unnatural sexual lifestyle, which is contrary to their religion. They are also against government forcing their fellow Christians to participate in those celebrations of an immoral lifestyle. I am opposed to the continued misrepresentations by media headlines and articles of these positions in favor of a PC liberal slant, either intentionally or through journalistic laziness.
Referring to having to be overly considerate of the feelings of freaks and fiends I take offense to everyone including those who claim to be rationally thinking humans referring to such dialogue as being Politically Correct when in truth it is Cultural Marxism.
why can’t straight, gay or transgendered men compete in women’s sports? women have been breaking up men’s groups for a long time. what is good for the goose should be good for the gander.
The lawsuit should be to ban all of those freaks from competing against girls and women in all athletic events, fact having more XY Chromosomes than XX Chromosomes makes you male going through Genital reassignment surgery does not change that fact anymore than it applied to those born with more XX Chromosomes than XY Chromosomes makes you a male, cutting and stitching piecework does not change your sexual genetic composition.

Let me finish my thought from my first post, the lawsuit should apply to a law being passed to prevent the abominable from competing in athletic events against those born female on a national level and not just in one state.
Based on the logic of the gender confused, we ought to eliminate class distinctions in all sports. Boxing does away with weight classes, NASCAR allows any kind of power plant or configuration. NHRA lets fuelers race against street cars. Anyone can compete in the Special Olympics.. That will allow almost anyone to be able to claim that they won trophy, regardless of whether or not the contest was actually fair. I’m not a golfer, but I understand that women are sometime allowed allowed to drive from a tee closer to the green than men can. Will the PGA be required to give the same advantage to trannies?
How can these people be proud of their trophies. Just imagine the accolades from mom and dad when they prop them up on the mantle. Where’s the sportsmanship? That’s like bringing a motor boat to a sailing contest. Yea, so proud of you.

Men’s teams are go males and women’s teams are for females – they are not for people who select their own gender. I really don’t care if someone is transgender or not…what matters it the actual individual regardless of sex or race.
It is not right for these female athletes to have to compete against transgenders – it is destroying female sports and these young women’s careers and lives.
It is simple enough to create a trans-gender team, regardless if you identify as male or female.
