I can say with confidence that lawyers will find all sorts of illegal vote activities – and they will mostly be found in the major cities. Whether it will affect the outcome of any races – including the presidential — is an open question. But there will be solid evidence of election criminal mischief. Why do I believe that?
First, because I have been involved in investigating such situations. They are to be found in every election to some degree or another. A lot of it is freelance cheating. Like the guy who attempted to cast the ballot of his deceased mother. But, there are examples of well-organized massive vote fraud on occasion. It was generally accepted in Cook County Illinois that for a Republican candidate to assure victory, he or she had to win by more than 100,000 votes – generally considered the number of votes that could be “flipped” by Chicago’s infamous political machine.
If you believe the false narratives of the Democrats and the media that vote fraud does not even exist, I know you have never worked on election oversight – as a poll watcher, count observer or investigator. I have done all those things on many occasions. If you buy into the false narrative denying vote fraud as an ever-present part of our electoral process, you might as well believe that North Korea’s Kim Jong un runs honest elections. After all, he says there is not vote fraud and no one is ever arrested. In that mindset, there is no such thing as vote fraud. That is what the Democrats and their media allies keep assuring us. It is the example of the bigger the lie, the more it is believed.
The problem with vote fraud is that you can see the evidence of it, but it is often impossible to identify the perpetrators – and the corrective measures are very limited. Even when perpetrators can be found, it is virtually impossible to get them charged and convicted by prosecutors and judges who are part of the political machine responsible for the illegal activities.
In the 2020 election alone, we are now finding many examples of vote fraud – a batch of ballots all marked for Joe Biden, a case of political operatives fraudulently post-marking ballots that arrived too late, ballots found in trash cans, ballots illegally cast, etc., etc,. etc.
In many ways, vote fraud is like an attack of termites – lots of very little creatures adding up to a lot of damage. But there is larger scale vote fraud. For obvious reasons, it is more characteristic of one-party urban political machines. That means Democrats – although examples of Republican mischief can be found. Just not as pervasive or on the same scale.
In Chicago at the height of the Daley machine, there was a central command center. They would issue a required target vote count to each precinct necessary to win the election. Precinct operatives would produce that number by hook or by crook – and usually by crook in the criminal sense of the word. There were virtually endless ways to produce that number. In many cases, Democrats garnered more votes than people who had voted – and in extreme cases, more votes than people who were even registered to vote.
Democrats’ reputation for vote fraud may not be more a matter of circumstance than political genetics. Systemic vote fraud is most often found in regions where there is prolonged one-party rule – and that is mostly found in the old south and the major urban centers where Democrats rule virtually without opposition.
Unless they are incompetent or politically compromised, those looking for vote fraud in the 2020 election will find some wherever they look – in addition to a lot of unintentional counter errors.
Whether they find enough to have flipped a key state and ultimately the outcome of the presidential election is unknown – and probably unlikely. But it has happened. Objective historians generally agree that Senator Jack Kennedy defeated Vice President Richard Nixon in 1960 due to massive vote fraud that flipped the states of Illinois, Texas and possibly West Virginia. The Democrat chicanery was carried off with the active support of Mafia boss Sam Giancana.
Democrats and the media claim that the accusations of vote fraud is racist because the focus is on cities with large Black populations and leadership. In fact, that is where most of the dishonest vote tabulation occurred – for two reasons. Again, there is nowhere in the cities where one-party rule is so complete as in our segregated inner cities. Those are areas where many Republican poll watcher positions remain vacant – or filled by machine Democrat operatives.
For those who live and work in the major cities, vote stealing is an open secret. When I told a Black Democrat precinct-worker friend that CNN host Chris Cuomo said that there were fewer than 30 examples of vote fraud in the past ten years, my friend laughed in disbelief and said, “Hell, I can steal more than that in almost every election in my precinct alone.”
When I lost the Republican primary for mayor of Chicago because 42 percent of the GOP vote for mayor was never tabulated, I called Mayor Daley’s top aid to inquire what had happened. He did not deny the vote manipulation, but simply told me why they found it necessary to keep me from getting the nomination.
On another occasion, I was told by a top aide to the Mayor that they were going to “take out” the popular Republican states’ Attorney Jack O’Malley. When I pointed to the big lead O’Malley had in the polls, the aide told me that they planted the polling numbers to “put Jack to sleep” – meaning keeping him from campaigning aggressively.
I warned O’Malley but he simply refused to believe me. In a major upset – with very questionable vote counts in certain wards, O’Malley was, indeed, “taken out.”
If a person opens up a retail establishment, they know they will suffer from shoplifting. They can try to minimize it, but they will never eliminate it. They will never catch most of the shoplifters. It is just how it is. That is also true of elections. There will always be cheating. We just have to find it where we can – and prosecute if we can.
To those who say that accusations of illegal vote manipulation are lies – the product of conspiracy theorists – while it is true that not all claims of vote fraud are true, it is a lie to say it does not exist – and in some cases it does affect the outcome of an election.
In terms of the 2020 election, we citizens can only stand by and allow the vote counters and the lawyers representing the various stakeholder to do their jobs – and see what comes of it all. But we should not discount or disregard the possibility of significant vote fraud and ballot manipulation. It happens.
So, there ‘tis.
