<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;" align="center"><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 9.5pt; font-family: Arial; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #222222; background: white;"> ;</span></strong>The Trump administration will not be including questions about sexual orientation in the 2020 census.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">On Tuesday morning, the Census Bureau release a list of proposed subjects for 2020 and &ldquo;sexual orientation and gender identity&rdquo; ;was allegedly one of them.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">However, later that day, the bureau said that the topic was asked to be included by a several members of congress (Democrats) but after reviewing the questions, it was determined there is no &ldquo;federal need&rdquo; for them.  ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;The Subjects Planned for the 2020 Census and American Community Survey report released today inadvertently listed sexual orientation and gender identity as a proposed topic in the appendix. This topic is not being proposed to Congress for the 2020 Census or American Community Survey,&rdquo; said the bureau in a statement. ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The survey, coined by the bureau as the &#8220;leading source of quality data about the nation&#8217;s people,&#8221; ;has never included this category and has always focused on age, race, occupation, marital status, etc. But, the census also gives a snapshot of same-sex households.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;Our goal is a complete and accurate census,&rdquo; said John H. Thompson, Census Bureau director. &ldquo;In planning for the 2020 Census, the Census Bureau has focused on improving its address list by using imagery, finding ways to increase household self-response, leveraging resources inside and outside the government, and making it easier and more efficient for census takers to complete their work.&rdquo; ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Not to mention, these issues have been overexposed and overblown by the Obama administration.  ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Besides that fact, including gender identity questions gets complicated considering there are so many &ldquo;identities&rdquo; in the mix nowadays.  ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;Deciding which identities to probe for, though, could be tricky. When Facebook allowed users to select a gender identity it offered dozens of options, ranging from male and female to pangender and &ldquo;neither,&rdquo; writes <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">The Washington Times.</em> &ldquo;The Census had a team of experts laying the groundwork for orientation and identity questions, just in case it decided to go through with it.&rdquo;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Evidently, liberals are calling this an attack on the LGBT community. GLAAD&#8217;s CEO, Sarah Kate Ellis called this a &#8220;systematic effort on behalf of the Trump administration to erase LGBT people.&#8221;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&#8220;Today, the Trump Administration has taken yet another step ;to deny LGBTQ people freedom, justice, and equity, by choosing to exclude us from the 2020 Census and American Community Survey. LGBTQ people are not counted on the Census&mdash;no data is collected on sexual orientation or gender identity,&rdquo; said Meghan Maury, Criminal and Economic Justice Project Director of the National LGBTQ Task Force in a statement.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">But before these groups bash the president and his administration, they should take a look at how the UK is having a similar problem.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;The United Kingdom is also pondering whether to add gender identity to its next national headcount in 2021, saying that data is needed. But in a 2016 report the British Office of National Statistics said there were still many &ldquo;challenges and difficulties&rdquo; in collecting the information,&rdquo; writes <em>The Washington Times</em>. &ldquo;British officials were using focus groups and a national opinion survey to test whether the country was open to such questions, and how to go about asking them.&rdquo;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Editor&#8217;s note:</strong> The Obama Administration propagandized this issue for eight years. Statistics of this nature are always twisted and turned for poitical purposes, and always seem to show how someone is being systematically discriminated against, after which &#8216;victims&#8217; pop from nowhere. Its time for it to stop.</p>
