Brenda Snipes Announces Resignation after Midterm Recounts

Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes announced her resignation Sunday following two recounts of midterm ballots. Her official retirement will begin on January 4th.

“I am ready to pass the torch,” wrote Snipes, age 75.

Dr. Brenda Snipes was appointed to the position of Elections Supervisor in 2004 by then-Governor Jeb Bush. She was reelected in 2008, 2012, and 2016.

Snipes’s career was peppered with botched elections, legal disputes, and fierce criticism.

Recent critics include President Trump, Florida Senator Marco Rubio (R), Jeb Bush, and Rick Scott, whose campaign sued Snipes after a ballot box was discovered at the Fort Lauderdale Airport.

“They found 78,000 new votes since Election Day, two days ago, in Broward County, and 15,000 more votes in Palm Beach, we don’t know how many more votes that they are going to come up with, but it sure appears that they are going to find as many votes as they can to win the election,” said Scott. “So, I have asked the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to do an investigation. We filed a lawsuit, we are going to fight this, and we are going to win.”

Last Saturday, Snipes admitted that her office “lost” over 2,000 ballots that had been included in the initial tally. The final results – submitted just 52 minutes before the deadline on Sunday – confirmed Rick Scott’s victory over Bill Nelson and Ron DeSantis’s victory over Andrew Gillum.

The midterm drama is nothing new for Snipes, who earlier this year was confirmed to have violated federal law by destroying ballots from the 2016 primary elections too early. On top of that, the ballots were destroyed during a public records lawsuit from a losing candidate who wanted to take a look at the documents.

Snipes has also been accused of posting election results before polls closed, mixing rejected ballots with valid ballots, and removing key measures from ballots.

It will likely be up to Governor-elect Ron DeSantis to choose her successor. In the meantime, DeSantis should call for a special prosecutor to investigate the numerous instances of voter fraud to occur during Snipes’s tenure as supervisor.

Broward County was very close to throwing elections at the Governor and Senate levels this month. Every vote counts.

No she quit before she would get fired. That does not look good on a resume.

Seriously, she’s 75 do you think she’s worries about her resume? If she is found to have broken the law she needs to retire in jail.

Brenda Snipes does deserve to go to jail. We can’t allow them to get away with this, because it will just keep happening. It is what has to happen to save this country.

Just another liberal crook! If you can’t win an election, steel it through changing, and adding ballots, making your candidates the winners! Lock her up!

Better late than never, however the damage she has attempted to do could have been catastrophic if it hasn’t been already in past elections she may have stolen. She is no doubt responsible for the installation of numerous thieves, crooks and other assorted democrats and similar incompetents that she is responsible for by disenfranchising the good people of Florida who have fought and died for, in some cases, their votes.
For this reason alone her own life should be placed in jeopardy via the legal system if charges of that severity can be upheld. A message must be sent, listen up democrats and particularly the bunch at the DNC, election stealing will no longer be tolerated and laws allowing that behavior to be identified will be passed, so be warned.
In the meantime what size neck have you got as we have nice new designer ropes in from banana republics overseas just in time for our new winter political traitor collection. I understand that in two years they be selling as soon as we get the leftist white washing crews back out of town and replace them with a super-majority of American voters.

This is surprising seeing another one “resigning” to avoid legal judgement. Resigning from a position is normally a two week notice to your employer. Why eight weeks?

Snipes resigned in hope of the investigation being cancelled. Nelson and Gillum conceded because they
saw what was coming for the rats that they are. I truely believe that a lot of states, esp, Ariz., had tons
of illegal votes counted. Think about, Trump carried so many states and then decided to vote
    democ–rat–ic. I think not.
