19 Young Girls Taken As Slaves by ISIS, Burned Alive

We have written many articles on the Islamic practice of taking sex slaves from the ranks of non-believers, a heinous practice so foreign to our way of life it seems surreal. However ISIS has outdone itself in the level of atrocity it is willing to commit. 19 young girls in Mosul, Iraq were burned alive for refusing to have sex with ISIS militants.

According to a source, these women were put into iron cages and burned in the center of the city while hundreds of people watched, no one in the crowd able or willing to do anything about it.

These girls were Yazidis, a minority religious faith in the region, captured in Northern Iraq which was taken over by ISIS in 2014. Apparently thousands of Yazidis were trapped on Mount Sinjar, unable to flee. They were subjected to killings, kidnappings rapes and forced slavery.  It is estimated over 3000 Yazidi girls are being held as sex slaves.

Kurdish Peshmerga forces moving back into the Yazidi district say they found five mass graves where hundreds of civilians who were summarily executed were buried.

Again, in our culture this is surreal to the point we can’t absorb the callous brutality of it all.  It brings to mind the brutal organization of the Nazi’s marching Jews to the concentration camps.  From our previous article:

In 2014, ISIS distributed a pamphlet to its followers in which it outlined why beating, trading, and raping sex slaves was permitted by Allah. The disturbing pamphlet has a question and answer section outlining under which circumstances ISIS fights can take women captive and rape them.

One sample of this text? Question 5 asks, “Is it permissible to have intercourse with a female captive immediately after taking possession of her?” The chilling response is “If she is a virgin, he (her master) can have intercourse with her immediately after taking possession of her.”

Question 6 of the pamphlet asks “Is it permissible to sell a female captive?” and ISIS fighters are instructed, “It is permissible to buy, sell or give as a gift female captives and slaves, for they are merely property which can be disposed of…”
