Susan Rice: Clueless, Malevolent, or Both?

Susan Rice: Clueless, Malevolent, or Both?

Susan Rice worked as a UN ambassador and later as a national security adviser in the Obama Administration.

Once referred to by Newsweek as “Obama’s right-hand woman,” she seems to be the Administration’s propaganda specialist, intent on spreading the good word about Obama’s deed, despite being at odds with the facts.

Chemical warfare

In January, Rice bragged about the “success” of a 2013 agreement designed to remove all chemical weapons from Syria. Not only does last week’s attack prove her claim false, but DNI James Clapper had clued Congress nearly a year earlier:

“We assess that Syria has not declared all the elements of its chemical weapons program to the Chemical Weapons Convention… We continue to judge that the Syrian regime has used chemicals as a means of warfare since accession to the CWC in 2013,” said Clapper.

Last July, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons declared the agency “was not able to resolve all identified gaps, inconsistencies, and discrepancies in Syria’s declaration and therefore could not fully verify that Syria had submitted a declaration that could be considered accurate and complete in accordance with the CWC.”

Even so, Rice said the following during an NPR interview in January 2017:

“We were able to find a solution that didn’t necessitate the use of force that actually removed the chemical weapons that were known from Syria, in a way that the use of force would never have accomplished… We were able to get the Syrian government to voluntarily and verifiably give up its chemical weapons stockpile.”

Recent events have shown Syrian never gave up its chemical weapons, nor its will to use them against innocent civilians. This was not an Obama Administration success, it was in fact an epic failure.

Trump surveillance scandal

Rice has also been implicated in the investigation spurred by Trump’s now-famous “wiretapping claim.” Turns out it was Rice who requested the unmasking of US persons’ names in the classified documents discovered and revealed by House Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA). It was the presence of these names that proved the Obama Administration was “spying” on Trump’s transition team.

The documents show that Rice – and the Obama Administration – went to great lengths to collect and share this information. Rice herself submitted dozens of requests for the identities of US persons in raw intelligence reports related to the Trump campaign.

When asked about her involvement in the surveillance, Rice told PBS, “I know nothing about this.”

As a national security adviser, Rice should know that targeting and disseminating information from secret intelligence assets without a court warrant is a felony.

If she hasn’t covered up the evidence, perhaps Congress will get around to throwing her in jail.

Benghazi

Two US government facilities in Benghazi, Libya were attacked by terrorists on September 11th, 2012. Four Americans were killed, and it is widely believed that their deaths could have been avoided.

Rice appeared on all five Sunday morning shows to say the Benghazi attacks were triggered by an anti-Muslim Internet video. “We do not have information at present that leads us to conclude that this was premeditated or preplanned,” she told CBS.

State Department officials were shocked by her words. “I think Rice was off the reservation on this one,” said the State Department’s Senior Libya Desk Officer.

And yet the State Department did not correct her, and the American people believed this crock for several weeks. According to leaked emails from Hillary Clinton’s office, Hillary new the same day that Rice’s explanation was a load of bunk.

Did Rice really believe what she was saying? Or was she covering for Obama, who was in a tight presidential race and who had just declared that ISIS was on the run?

A revelation like this – that he was wrong and that Americans died because of his actions – could easily have cost him the election. In fact, we at the PB Post believe that was the exact purpose of her red herring speech, she lied to the American people on purpose to help Obama win his election.

Coincidentally, Rice was promoted from UN ambassador to national security adviser just months after her false claim about Benghazi.

So you be the judge, is she the clueless idiot who doesn’t know what she is saying? Or is she the socio-pathic political hack, with little respect for the American people, who meticulously planned her lies and illegal actions to further her career?
