Will it never end? As the State Department continues to sift through the staggering amount of emails Hillary Clinton handed over, officials found another 125 messages containing “classified” information. Remember when Hillary assured us that nothing she received or sent using her secret server was classified? About that…
According to the State Department’s investigation schedule, 7,000 emails were released Monday afternoon. This was the largest release so far, reported Fox News. “We’re producing more documents this month than we have produced in the previous three releases,” Mark Toner told reporters on Monday.
Toner, a spokesman for the State Department, confirmed that everything was proceeding according to the schedule ordered by a U.S. District Court judge in May after the State Department came under criticism for failing to meet deadlines in regards to the email investigation.
The total number of emails found to contain classified information has climbed to 189. No doubt Clinton and her team will keep insisting that the information wasn’t sensitive at the time. As to the content of the emails, the public will be allowed to view everything that isn’t blacked out.
Even the emails that don’t contain classified information are intriguing: in one, Hillary refused to praise an aide who went nearly 100 hours without sleep to finish a speech; in another, she said Martin O’Malley “should be reelected by acclamation for steering the ship of state so well.” O’Malley is now one of her harshest critics.
Some are downright suspicious, such as the following message sent from her iPad to adviser Philippe Reines: “I don’t know if I have Wi-Fi. How do I find out?” She later denied using her iPad for email purposes.
Hillary’s supporters argue that the information wasn’t labeled TOP SECRET at the time of sending, but I’m not convinced. According to last weekend’s Bloomberg poll, Hillary is somehow still in the lead. Bernie sander is hot on her trail, however, pulling 30% in Iowa to Hillary’s 37%.
